After several years of being a passionate supporter of the AFL, I have found that there has always been one major underlying disturbance. That problem has been the carlton football club and its supporters. They have managed to somehow bring the moral and ethical standard of the league down. Recent examples of the moral standards of the football club clearly demonstrates the foundation upon which your club is based. The very fact that you had to cheat the salary cap shows no attempt to follow in the true spirit of the game and in doing so, being part of an honest and fair league. Furthermore the club has fallen to a new low and has created a terrible new term and culture that has been referred to as "tanking". Carlton has taken this newly invented term and created a monster. Despite denying that the club would ever perform such an "atrocity", the onfield performances speak for themselves. In doing so, carlton have systematically rorted and manipulated the system in whatever way they see fit. Carlton have ruined the beautiful game that we had known for ever. I question how Richard "DICK" Pratt manages to sleep at night.
