Even though i agree that the Demons midfield was killing Carlton and there werent contested marks, how could he have so easily have lead to the ball, i remember him being 15 metres open regularlyl on the lead in the first half. There have been other games where our midfield has dominated and Neitz has been held such as against Mick Martyn, you cant take all responsibility off Beaumont.

James Kelly, Daniel Kerr have been picked up around this number in the past two years...no way, never, no thanks!

Pick #51 and 20yr old ruckman/key position player Chris Oliver for Allan who'll be 28 in Febuary. Basically, take the deal or one of similar value, or face losing him in the pre-season draft...Hawthorn don't want a bar of him, neither does anyone else from the sounds of things.

I'm not sure if the Saints should even gamble on him in the pre-season draft...he's such an injury prone player...and his contract would be large, although smaller than Everitt's is! I pray that Kane Johnson and Des Headland are availible when our pick rolls around, be it 1, 2 or 3!

I wonder if Sheedy would be willing to take a punt on him...Allan and Hulme for Mercuri/Heffernan and Carracella?
