The link doesn't seem to be working for me though so I can't find out my ranking from last year.off memory I was about 10k last year but finished top 1000 the year before.

Not sure yet, haven't set a date for that at this stage.

We still have plenty of time so I'm not concerned.

Probably closer to the end of February which will give us a good 3 weeks to get everyone signed up. That should be more than enough time.

Please note: I have set the registration deadline for

Friday March 2, 5:00pm AEST

That gives you 1 more week to register for this competition.

When that deadline passes, all registered participants will be placed in divisions, which I will have completed by the end of next weekend.

From there I will ask one person from each division to take on the responsibility of being captain of that division. The captain will need to make the league on the website, PM all players allocated to that league the appropriate league code, and ensure that everyone has registered. The league captain will be in continuous contact with me to ensure that all is running as smoothly as it should be.

It is likely that we won't get the exact number of participants required to ensure that all Carlton BF leagues are filled by Carlton BF posters only - ie. the lowest league will likely need to be filled by randoms. We will therefore likely have to set a deadline for joining your allocated leagues, which will be confirmed when the divisions have been finalized. Once that deadline has passed, you will lose your place in that league and you will be replaced by someone from the league that is not able to be filled completely by Carlton BF posters.

Importantly, when the registration deadline passes, you can still register your interest. However, at that point your previous ranking will have no bearing on what league you are placed in, and you will be placed in the lowest league.

Keep the registrations coming - YOU HAVE ONE MORE WEEK!

Thanks to everyone for their interest, but I'm still keen on getting more registrations.

Have the codes been sent yet I havnt received mine? cuppers Clangers is the name, just checking as I already missed my bigfooty div!

Nope they haven't. Will have the divs sorted by this afternoon.

Keep an eye on this thread today as they will be up. From there we need a captain for each division and then everything should run quite smoothly.
 
Jeremias - I haven't signed up for it on the AFL site yet but I will. Do I need to do that for you before you put me into a division or can it wait until I'm in a division so long as I put myself into it soon after my division is declared?

Sorry - been busy with exam study (OUA student).

PLEASE NOTE

Divisions have now been created. Please check the OP for your division.

If you haven't registered your interest, it's not too late. You won't be placed in the top few divisions, but we're still looking to fill div 3 and maybe start div 4 if there's enough interest.

I need one poster from div 2 and div 3 to nominate themselves as captain of their respective divisions. They will have the responsibility of creating the league and sending the league code to the appropriate people. They will need to monitor the league and tell me on a regular basis how things are going with that league. It won't take long and it needs to be done so please volunteer to do so. Please let me know if you are prepared to be league captain and I'll confirm what you need to do.

I will be div 1 captain and will be setting the league up in a moment.
