I rather have debt than have Buckley as I couch. Collingwood is all about glits and glamour if you look under the surface or open the door at the Holden centre you will find nothing of any substance. You find it lonely down the bottom as we did but at least we are now leaving the station as our CEO said with what looks to be a great driver Bolten at the controls. Who is Collingwood's coach again FIGJAM

Typical childish response. Stick to the topic.

Collingwood have qualified in 4 of the last 14 GFs (5 if you include the draw). They are one of the very few Victorian clubs that have excelled in the national competition...

We can exit Buckley. You'll still be Carlton and your list will still have every on saying mediocrity is a great credit to Bolton's coaching.

GWS + GCS don't get prime time crowds.

North v Richmond got a crowd of 17k two Vic based clubs

North v Carlton got a crowd of 40k

Carlton v Brisbane got 30k

Blues get crowds
Nice work, you forgot too mention that in freezing conditions in Tasmania two Vic teams North and Richmond drew a crowd that was a record for the ground, surpassing last years record crowd between the same two teams:rolleyes:

Not sure if Essendon will get a Friday Night came next year consider we will likely finish last and based on Carltons precedent. Though we seem to be getting most of our suspended players back so I do think we can be much more competitive next year.

Good on the Blues though, great to see the club turning things around quickly

Fine. Let me rephrase then.

Melbourne have had 1 Friday night game in 4 years. Without looking I would suspect that only the expansion sides have had less.
Actually, until the match against North a few weeks ago, we had also had less- none since 2012 in fact

Would never happen but about time the AFL focused more on making Friday night games blockbuster affairs, or at least trying to lock in games that look like being competitive. Did anyone other than Richmond fans really see Richmond as much watch footy similar to how they had Carlton in 2015? I certainly didn't.

Seems like every Friday game these days is rubbish. Maybe I'm forgetting things but a couple of years back I could look forward to a good contest at the end of the week on the Friday, and didn't have weeks upon weeks where I could just totally ignore the Friday games.

tonights game is case in point Woful display game was over midway through the first quarter. I agree that Friday nights game should be between 2 competitive clubs but how the hell do you structure a fixture to allow scheduling to change?I suppose you can allow movement between Saturday afternoon games and Friday night but really that is it I mean one needs to allow teams to recover form the previous week. So do you group matches each week and mix and match Did I say that Essendon were woful oh yeah i did I just like saying that I guess

That's just waffle.

I would have liked us to at least get one. After finishing higher than Essendon last year i was shocked to find out we didn't. Turns out it doesn't matter about 'earning' friday night games like the AFL says just as long as you're a big club the AFL will just give you what you want

Can't say i feel sorry for the AFL when they where stupid enough to ignore their own rules
