Was just wondering what your thoughts on yesterdays games were? Is it a worry as a Hawk fan that Hodge cant cope with a tag.
Is it also concerning that your number one pick cant cope with a tag and often goes missing in big games and the two player selected immediately after him star in big games?

Hodge was obviously injured this week. Could barely walk, let alone run.
Not at all. Hodge is the only player of the three to win a Norm Smith in a premiership side. Voted player of the finals in 2008. Has been sensational in every finals game except this one and a semi-final against North where he had similar knee concerns.
Good injury troll though. I was wondering where they were.
He obviously considered himself fit enough to play. Either he is more selfish then Brad Johnson or is just a downhill skier who goes missing in finals. One good game does not make a career

In a few hours everyone will consisder Juddy a finals spud.
Isn't it more prestigious to win a Norm Smith in a losing side? Despite the fact Fosdike was robbed, Judd was good in a losing side, Hodge was good in a winning side. Still doesn't disprove the allegations.

I feel like a genius on BF sometimes . . .
The Norm Smith is awarded before the result is known, and before the game has ended.
The result isn't taken into account therefore during tight games, which is why most of the losing Norm Smiths have been in tight contests.

4 finals out of 6 Hodge has been sensational. 2 he hasn't. One of those was playing with an obvious injury.
Fit enough to play, but obviously not fit enough to perform to his usual level.

I'm aware that it is awarded at 3/4 time but Judd still was in the Top 3 players on the day and Sydney had been leading the enitre match and at every break. In fact at half time they were 20 points up so then Judd was still playing well in a side getting beaten.
Hawthorn led from 1/4 time onwards and Hodge was dominant in the 2nd and 3rd quarters when Hawthorn were on top.
I'm not sure what your argument has anything to do with whether Hodge is a front runner in finals.

It's not 3/4 time, it's just a few minutes before FT. And the margin should make no difference to how a midfielder plays unless it's an absolute thrashing.
Hawthorn weren't on top in the second quarter. Hodge was very good in that one because Geelong had so many inside 50s.

So just 1 half of footy left for Carlton left in season 2010.
Leading by 24 going into half time and dominating all over the ground, I predict a 50+ point thrashing.
You guys have let Paul Bevan kick 3 goals, which superstar is playing on him? Kennedy has been dominating with 19 disposals, which is 6 more than Duddy and he has been so muh more effective.
Judd has been shutout of the game by Jack and he has even has had only 2 less disposals plus a goal. How much of a superstar is Juddy now?
