I think there should be an emotional lap of honour for Hirdy too and anyone who doesn't clap and cheer is executed. I mean it's only fair for what we put Essendin through.

Carlton supporters should cheer all Essendon possessions too.

Fair chance there will be a few fights in the crowd tonight. Over the years I've seen the vast majority of bad crowd behaviour involve Carlton vs Essendon games. Add this whole situation with the fact we were penalised a decade ago, and I'm sure it'll get messy.

Let's hope the AFL / MCG have organised extra security.
