Carlton's next win - will it even happen?

What about Kouta at FF and Fisher at CHF. Kouta just getting some game time into his legs so FF may not be a bad thing for him. He can certainly match it with most of the FB's going around. Fisher is one that I'm impressed with as a future player. Can't hurt to give him a crack at it at CHF for a few weeks.

Carlton will win more games. They're going along o.k considering their recent circumstances.

Perfect chance for the lads to show the football world we are not Fevcentric. If we beat the Swans and possibly Port, the rest of the football world including the pessimistic Blues supporters will have to admit we have progressed a fair way, if we get belted then we have a fair way to go.

How is it flawed?

If he kicks two bags of ten he'll be considered as having a better season because he has kicked more goals than him overall. Simple logic - a FF kicks goals. He doesn't need to do anything else... how good a FF is in a particular year is rated on how many goals he has kicked in that year. Throughout history, the FF that has kicked the most goals was generally views as the best. Look at all the past Coleman winners and don't tell me that they were not the best full-forwards of those particular years.

Any forward who has time out will fall behind the pack. Say if Lloyd gets injuried when he is on 80 goals with one game to go, and Gehrig is on 79. Gehrig overtakes Lloyd in respect to having a better year - same if Lloyd was out due to injury. Missing a chunk and falling behind while the other forward does not and in turn gets to end up with the Coleman instead of the injuried or suspended one who was close - who had the better year?

But I doubt that Neitz will kick two bags of ten in a row - very rare even for the best FFs to do so nowadays. And besides, you're off-topic. Don't drag your thoughts from the Fevola vs Neitz thread - I thought you proclaimed to the world that you didn't care? More BS from you.

More BS blah blah blah. More novels from El Thrawn, the king of Full Forwards.

Don't post drivel and admit your view is PATHETIC. Thankyou.

Just demonstrating your inability to develop a sensible and coherent reply with your post there. Yet again, rather than just argue the points you ignore them. I asked you a question, you refuse to answer and buckle. This thread was going well until you had to post something as irrelevant as a topic from a thread that has already been finished - you bought this upon yourself, not I.

Oh, and I thought you didn't care? Hey, that's what you said. Who is BSing again? My drivel over yours anyday mate.

Holy Schitt gurl! Your drivel over mine? My God, I won't be able to sleep at night.

I don't care. Read that again - I don't care. How does replying all the time constitute caring anymore? If I did, then I would churn out novels like you with paragraph after paragraph of complete nothingness.

Neitz > Fevola! HUZZAH! HUZZZZZZZZZZZAH!

And now I'll edit all my posts like Thrawn does because he can't think of everything at once! OMG! 1-0!

Well if you don't care, why did you even bother typing this in a thread where you draw up something irrelevant:

So Neitz might kick 10 goals in the next two games and lead Fevola on the goal kicking table - and now, due to how you rate the goal kicking table so highly, am I right in saying Neitz would now be having the better season??

Your view is FLAWED!

Don't lie. You do care, otherwise we wouldn't be discussing this on this thread. The issue was dead and buried until you bought it up. Don't tell me you do not care - because you do. And it's very amusing to see you type it.

Continue with your crusade against me, I'm finding it very amusing. And thanks for the scoreline too - the home team is up 3-0. This thread is my creation after all. Maybe they should pay you for this sort of entertainment - you're beginning to reach Yze_Magic levels.

Tend to agree. We Blues supporters have become a tad pessimistic. We've got alot of young talented and under-rated players, and our team structure was just starting to setlle before Fev and Lance became unavailable. Our top 3 midfielders - Stevens, Scotland, and Campo (plus Kouta when fit), are all highly skilled, as are Lappin and Houla. We've also got a collection of fast, tall skillful players (Waite, Normal, Fisher) that cause matchup problems. They are just starting to show patches of brillance, but still have a long way to go in terms of consistency. Having Fev and Lance out may provide an opportunity for someone else to step up.

Can't wait for Setanta to make his debut. I rate our list highly against teams above us at the moment, such as Melbourne and Geelong. We may just make the 8 this year, but I'm predicting a big year in 2005. Exciting times for Blues.
