It is good and it gets better. Having already seen the series, anything I say will only act as spoilers. However you cannot miss a single episode as each one provides another clue to the deepening mystery.

Apart from the narrative, the production design alone is utterly superb and intricate and the cast (including numerous fine character actors) is one of the finest emsembles put together for series television.

The producer has described it as 'The Grapes of Wrath meets David Lynch.'

Anyway, Lynch's best films have also been his most conservative. It's when he gets a little too clever for his own good that he comes unstuck.

When was this on? I've been trying to get my hands on some episodes for the last couple of weeks after the hype going around but wasn't aware it had hit Australia yet.

I've also seen the series and I'm a big fan. Although a few epsiodes drag on a bit, it's worth watching. It's one of most unique shows I've seen for a few years.

"Lost" is another great series as well. Great cast and terrific story lines. Coming to channel 7 in Feb.

He is a bit. I like his {CLancy Brown's} work.

When I was at uni, I saw Highlander fourteen times at the cinema. I was completely infatuated with him. I remembered him from the Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the Eighth Dimension. Also liked Extreme Prejudice and Blue Steel.

He was also a fine, sympathetic 'monster' in that shonky Sting version of the Frankenstein tale, The Bride. In fact he was the best thing about the movie.

No, the midget who played the monster's friend was memorable too. Poor David Rappaport. So good in Time Bandits...a pity he blew his brains out in real life.

Great to see the ABC showing this enthralling series at least there is something wothwhile to watch over summer.Go auntie and kick some arse! :D .

I really enjoyed the last episode. I guessed that Sampson was going to kill the guy when he walked into the bar. Can't wait for the confrontation between Ben and Jeremy.

You've obviously forgotten his memorable role as The Kurgan in Highlander.:)

Great episode last night. I really hope someone green lights a third series in the near future, fantastic TV, especially compared to the rest of the summer line up.

File under try hard David Lynch.

No there's definately only one David Lynch, thank god. His movies are sh*thouse.

As for Carnivale, I thought it was brilliant. Although I found the end abit of a let down compared to the rest of the series.
