Gary questioned whether the article she wrote last week was 'widely accepted' by the football community. Caro tried to say that she never said that North had signed the deal and JB and Euge had promised they would never be the "Travelling Kangaroos" again, Gary said the members still get 11 home games, what is the difference. She then tried to deflect onto the Melbourne Tigers sharing issue to which Gary and Hutchy asked what the difference was between that and Melbourne Demons sharing a facility with the Victory and Rebels. Hutchy commented that it made sense with the basketball facility at Arden St.

Gary asked whether they needed to get JB back on the show and Grant asked whether she should go on TFS :D

Looks like JB will be on Classified next week.
 
F*** i forgot to tune in. Sounds brilliant, hope JB comes on next week.

At one point her face was bright red when she was under real pressure over the Melbourne Tigers sharing issue, Hutchy was coming in over the top of Gary and GT was flashing a big smile on the end of the panel.

It was a beautifully orchestrated attack.... like watching a Warne-Healy plan come off.

Making her a mountain.

Hopefully JB can remind her he always said we may need to sell home games.
 
It's moments like this when I'm glad I have iQ2. Not up to that bit yet, but will grab popcorn, sit back and enjoy the frying of the gargoyle for a couple of minutes.

I hope JB sticks the "Muhammad to the mountain" line to her next time.

It was a throw away line which out of anyone else's mouth would have been quite humourous but if JB gets her on the back foot and shows her who the mountain is on live TV it could really embarrass her.
 
Well done to Garry Lyon, who I reckon has been very, very fair in his comments on us, and has put it to Caroline on our behalf on a few occasions this year. He actually belittled her and spoke for the footy public in doing so. Superb!!

Beginning to like the bloke more and more. Put fatty Grant in his box earlier too. Has principles and stands by them does Garry Lyon.
 
Ive always been a Lyon fan, hes extremely level headed on most matters football, but makes a few silly statements that people latch onto and call him a moron.

If he really did orchestrate all this as suggested, massive amounts of respect added.
 
Just watched it. The Harpy's gills were quivering. The fella's, led by Gaz, were composed and very fair, as said above. They pull her up on her sweeping statements and question her assertions that we're doing wrong by entertaining the Melbourne Tigers in a share arrangement. They give her a glaring example of another club in a similar arrangement and she says "Oh that's completely different............." with no follow up facts why that's so. That was good viewing.
