Na, I cant even blame anyone but Mayfield. He is just shit. Misses easy throw, batted balls galore which then results in overthrowing receivers.
 
Mayfield super salty with the reporters after the game. Blaming the oline for battered balls. The nerve of him. He leads the league in battered balls since entering the league.
 
I hate Sean Payton but id love him as coach, doubt he comes unless we finish with at least a top 3 pick (to choose his own QB) however no matter how much money Tepper throws at him. Its so important that we keep losing games.

ESPN's Dan Graziano reports "there's a lot of buzz" the Panthers will fire head coach Matt Rhule "if things don't pick up soon."​

The Panthers have a 1-3 start under Rhule, who is facing three straight losing seasons, and are 11-26 since hiring Rhule in 2020. Another loss to the 49ers in Week 5 could add fuel to Rhule's already hot seat. Firing Rhule in-season would give Carolina an early start at finding his replacement amid rumors the team plans to make a run at Sean Payton in 2023. Ex-Cardinals coach Steve Wilks would likely serve as the interim coach if Rhule is fired. The Panthers have been the league's worst offense through the first four weeks, ranking last in the NFL in third-down percentage (26%) and total yards per game (263).

Would Payton want a rookie qb thou he seems the sort that would want a vet.

Depends who the vet is I suppose. If the Chargers job came up I think hes a cert to go there. But so many of the teams with a possible coaching vacancy with a vet aren't exactly attractive. I mean, wouldnt you rather develop a top 3 pick of your choice than work with a washed up Russell Wilson? I know I would.

The product is garbage, thats why nobody is turning up, what's the point of going to watch your team when its a special occasion if they put up 14 points on offense.

It all comes back to Rhule and his QB/OC decisions. People can handle losing if they are being entertained, but there has been zero entertainment for Panther fans for 4 years now.

The Panthers have been terrible ever since Tepper bought them. He has driven the franchise into the ground.

Yep. However, our draw is still tough regardless.

Baker's high ankle sprain will see PJ Walker in until Darnold/Mayfield are good to go again.

Schedule opens up a bit after the bye, but until then the Falcons x2 are really our only realistic chances at getting a win and hurting our draft position.
