Defense making some strides hopefully:

Ashawn Robinson is quietly having a great season, feel like he's been exactly what we were hoping Tuttle was. Need to keep him around next to Derrick Brown.

Wonnum far more disruptive than I expected him to be (caveat they were playing a bad QB, bad oline, bad team). He's a much larger man than I realised.

Bryce was good in the first half, not so good in the second half. Could have just been the coaching staff playing not to lose rather than win also. No reason for Dalton to start again this season, keep it rolling.

How can you not love Chuba. What a man 🥰

Should be fun vs the Chiefs in two weeks. 🥸

Big difference I think is the misses & bad throws that Bryce is making now are good reads and the right decision. Early season & last season they were just bad choices & reads all together. He looks like he's having fun too (playing better and winning obviously does that), but might be something to be said with rookie players around him all coming through together.

Agree with what you have said 100%.... BUT....Im going to sound like a negative Nancy, I still remain highly sceptical. Hes reached competent game manager status now (his weapons are just rookies so im probably being harsh saying that but thats all his play has been in reality)

However, if we are at pick 10 come the end of the season (where we are now) we'll have played our way out of a top 3 pick to select a different QB. (thats a good thing btw, drafting QBs every two or three years is a ****ing awful spot to be in)

All in all, if he remains on this trajectory for the rest of the season we should given him another year with another offseason of building the roster up around him.

For whatever reason I always remember an interview with Jared Goff and him saying he didnt work it out til year 3 and he thinks all QBs should at least be given that long to prove they arent the guy.

This is pretty much his rookie year imo. Put a line through the Reich dumpster fire last season.

Canales needs to stop being a 🐓head and just name him the starter moving forward. Confidence is key here, let’s build Bryce up and keep going.

If he becomes a super comfortable game manager that’s fine, don’t think the niners or lions care having two game manager qbs.

Canales might be a genius by not naming him the starter moving forward to keep him motivated and switched on. Like I've said, he's been coddled his whole life and told he's the best, maybe some tough love and you have to earn the job is best for him right now.

Oh, 100%. Seen a lot of improvement, but it's coming from a very low bar. There's not the hope that he'll be a star in the league, but potentially someone who can point guard in the right system? Maybe.

Cant say enough about how impressive Hunt has been, paid a fortune for him and been worth every penny... best FA signing the Panthers have made since Jake Delhomme all those years ago I think. He better have a (c) on his jersey next year.

I love Cam tho, he should be regardless

Spot on hasn’t retired yet official hoping for one last chance so hasn’t made it official.

Kuechly and Thomas Davis work for the Panthers, they have jobs (Luke does some radio broadcasts, Davis does a weekly social media interview with Canales) thats why they were there in Germany. Steve Smith is in the hall of honour, he and Moose have done stuff for the Panthers social media from time to time.

Dont hear Greg Olsen sooking, hes been officially retired for a few years now.

That cause Olson isn’t me me me like Cam is.

These are the kind of moves I like us to make. Farley got the talent, just be ruined with injury his first 3 years in the league. Has played alright in the limited snaps hes got with us the past 3 or 4 weeks.

Chiefs clearly had a plan on all out to stop Chuba on the ground and make Bryce win it thru the air.

Bryce has certainly earned another year now no question, great that we won't have to be find a new QB again. He made some great throws with pressure in his face today and that throw down the sideline to Legette late was as good as you can throw it. (Legette making a habit of dropping these late)

Defense certainly still not great, you knew they'd give up that game winning drive at the end but they have improved for sure with some key personnel back. I think I got DJ Wonnum wrong, happy to say it, he's a much better player than just a clean up sack guy which I thought he was.

All in all good to see some progress , first time in years it feels like that we might actually be heading the right way instead of further into the abyss.
