When you consider what we traded for Young its worse pick than Russell id think. Funny how (likely) two HOFs went directly after both #1 pick busts.

Kyler goes alright though, so long as they have elite athleticism they can probably get away with it somewhat and there will be teams who will overlook it.

Russell was just lazy, had the god given talent to be an NFL QB unlike Young.

Young has been poor but he has nothing really to work with to be fair

Kid has been given no chance to succeed.

And tbf he may not have anyway, but he could have at least been given a chance

Dont disagree, I think Tepper is going to be in for a rude awakening if he thinks any QBs thats are mocked near the top of the draft next year are going to come here. There will be quite a few who will refuse to do so id think. Going to need to build up the team in other areas and show you can run a competent franchise to win some confidence back coz right now its career suicide if youre a highly rated QB.

On his play you'd be struggling to get more than a 6th, but he was the #1 pick and im sure there will be someone who thinks they could fix him. Rams would be a great spot for him, sit behind Stafford for a couple of years and work with McVay.
 
Miami is another good option for Bryce McDaniel and those wideouts would be a godsend after panthers.

And with tua likely done they might actually do it.

I kind of thing bringing in Dalton this early might be a ploy by Canales to see if the issue is mainly on Young or Young has no chance in this team

Of course it could also be because Tepper fires people way to quickly and he is scared for his job

Panthers shouldn't even think about taking a QB in 2025 nfl draft anyways will likely get the same result as they did with Bryce. So need to fix up team so he has protection, weapons and a d to help next QB.
So it would work out well if they able to get arch in 2026 nfl draft but like people have said no way they family allow him to play for the shitstorm that is the Panthers and Tepper.

Think about what Eli didn't want to play with

Young Ladainian Tomlinson was coming off 1600 rushing yards 10 tds
Backup RB in Michael Turner
Veteran Wideout in Keenan McCardall
Antonio Gates
Solid Veteran Oline
Good D
