Obviously “too soon” as they say in the non classics

Sorry, I won’t bring it up again
It just had nothing to do with anything when your original post was directed at me as I was the one who mentioned Vader. I was trying to be helpful then you take some weird dig.

If it was genuinely just some strange callback and not meant as a dig you really didn't word it right. Or didn't realise I was the one who brought up Vader?

I had no idea it was you let alone anyone else about Vaders special guest appearance and I didn’t go scrolling back looking for it

The running joke the past day or two was the soundtrack of the trailer that a few others jumped in on; but it’s obviously a touchy point so from here on in it won’t be mentioned again

Maybe they should have got Parkway Drive to do the background music for the trailer like Fox Footy did. That seems to have got more positive press

Thats my point, you didn't realise it was me which is why when I responded you thought to use the jibe thinking I was just randomly jumping in, not responding to what I saw as a post directed at me.

It's fine, we move on, no harm intended no harm done.

Just watched the first three episodes... absolutely elite. I remember thinking it was a bit slow off the mark, bit disjointed the first time round. But that is definitely because they made a mistake in only releasing two episodes, then waiting a week for ep 3. The middle episode is short and ends in a somewhat odd spot, but as a movie, the build-up is almost as good as the build-up in the final three episodes (would you look at that, it rhymes).

Yeah going to do my re-watch probably start of April. Looking forward to it.

Just finished the episode where at the end we get the 'Never more than 12' line. I knew I really enjoyed this the first watch through, but forgot just how much.

As someone who generally dislikes most Star Wars (although I liked the new movies  and Mandalorian was pretty good) is this worth it? Or do I need to be fully invested in the SW universe to enjoy this?

It's quite standalone I would say, although the second season is probably less standalone. Give the first season a go, and just watch it as a general science fiction show rather than as Star Wars, as there's no lightsabers, Force, etc.

I'm not invested either but I would recommend this show. It's like Star Wars for adults. It's a prequel to Rogue One which is also excellent. Though Rogue One came out in 2016 so most people would have watched that first.
