I could never fill Woshs shoes cooking wise, but here is a version of my go-to

Drunken Chicken Soup Recipe

This easy chicken soup recipe gets flavor from Shaoxing wine, scallions, bok choy, and more.

My version is much simpler.
Grab some maggie beer vlchicken bine stock
Garlic
Carrots
Celery
Parsnip
Chicken drumsticks
Parsley
A leafy green of your choice or cabbage
Barley if you like it ( yum!)
And when it's on the boil
Add a pretty huge shplonk or two of dry sherry.
Chases away colds and eases flu pain.
