That 'hit' in the semi-final on Frawley from Nth Ballarat was magnificent. He's an aggressive bloke, who loves to bump opponents, break tackles etc.
I'm sure some clubs would be interested. Doesn't strike me as the best decision maker going around but his competitiveness should get him a fair way.

Saw both games that day. He will be an AFL player given the chance.
At one point, waited for the ball to spill out the back of the back at CHF, hit it with pace between 2 opponents and kick a great goal from about 40mtrs

Twice on these draft boards posters have suggested an AFL club is watching Cathal. That's two, there may well be more. As Footyman suggested there was a shepherd and also there was a tackle in the Nth. Ballarat final that would have opened eyes at an AFL game let alone U18. Cathal has an all round game, goes in and out of it a bit though. Played a definite hard man role for the Knight's coaches against Gippsland in the prelim, so he knows how to be set a role.
He could be a late pick up or a rookie, personally I think club's may keep watching him in senior leagues, hopefulling for the Knight's affliate the Northern Bullants. If that's the case, I'm waiting for the chorus of Carlton supporters who will next year start asking - Why didn't we draft this Cathal kid? or Is this Corr kid good enough for AFL? Sydney's grinding efforts in the Grand Final wouldn't do the chances of a tough kid like Cathal any harm in a draft like this draft.

i talked to him the other day he was invited down to collingwood to train with them last week and they showed intrest saying that they thought he was unlucky to not be chosen for draft camp well hes a mate of mine so i hope he gets drafted
