Its a shame IF we do get over west coast that it will come down to only 1 of us getting to the GF. The cats look good, really good. Their midfield is on fire, the backline is impressive.

Last time we played scarlett gave rocape a bath, but the big fella was coming back off an injury and was very unfit, that let scarlett run off him and produced 6 goals.

But now with rusling, clement, buckley and wakes back in the side, fresh and fit didak and fraser i give us a chance. Anyone who is not bias would have to give us a chance, even the hawks have a chance with their forwards.

Indeed. Pies much more dangerous this time round. Cat's awful focused though as evident today. Would be cracker and most likely pull a bigger attendance than a GF against Port/North/Eagles and maybe even Hawks.

really? looks like you and collingwood have something in common :)
Pretenders don't tend to beat 14 out of a possible 15 clubs in a season, finish 1st and thrash their qualifying finals opponents by 106 points do they?

On the other hand, your side struggled to dispose a side missing its midfield stars, and is incapable of burying teams when ahead (Geelong, Fremantle, Carlton for example) and relies on last minute luck to win games.

ok mr. dropkick, that's great! however i wasn't referring to Geelong at all, I was actually referring to your fellow dero dropkick pussies_07_flag.

Open your eyes ******** :thumbsu:

Yeah he's a parrot who we'd all love would STFU please try not to hate us too much because of this twit MOST of us are still pretty cautious and respectful of upcoming opposition.
lol it's funny how you can like a team then wish them to lose because of their supporters. I actually like geelong but i want them to lose to us now just to stick it up the worse supporters.

Our team will just sit back and watch the 2 teams hopefully belt hell out of each other next week and we can take them on the week after nice and fresh.

As for the original question, I think West Coast are the obvious danger given their recent record, even though they appear wounded right now.

Scarlett owns Rocca so there 'strong' forward line is actually quite average. I'd rather play Collingwood over WC.

Based on what - the one time they met this year?

I guess you are scared of west coast though because, by the same amount of relevance, they own geelong in finals. :)

Geelong have always been good against the Eagles, especially in Melbourne. I remember last year they were up by alot and then lost after a huge comeback, but they've always scored well and matched up nicely. Assuming no Judd, Cousins and Kerr (could be in the prelim apparantly) in the midfield, I'd say West Coast.

Actually, Geelong have NEVER beaten West Coast in Melbourne.

If you mean Geelong as the venue, then yes, Geelong have a good recent record despite blowing a 54 point lead last year, but they've hosted us at Skilled in our last 3 encounters. We haven't played them at Subi since early 2005.

Same amount of relevance? I think two players who have matched up on each other for years (with Scarlett winning most of the time) is a hell of a lot more relevant then finals played 15 years ago

I would rather play West Coast, struggling with injuries and if Cousins or Judd were back Ling would (hopefully) blanket them. Plus without Egan it's harder to match up on Collingwood's talls.

Indeed WC play the G quite well (despite playing on it about as much as we do - not enough!) and it's a joke Geelong can play Freo 2 or 3 times in WA before the Eagles.

emster - Rocca was great last night and will be a worry either way should we face him but Scarlett has smacked him time and time again over the years.

Eagles. With Kerr, Judd and Cousins missing, we'll absolutely smash them. Based on this weekend's results, you'd probably put Collingwood as the second best team in the finals.

Whichever team we face, I'll be pretty confident as we match up well on both teams. The roos have been a bit of a bogey team for us in recent years as they probably match up best on us. I had them as our biggest threat up until this afternoon, and possibly still our biggest threat.

That may be true, I haven't really noticed because we've beaten you most times in recent years. You won this year - only by 16pts despite Rocca's terrible day, and we now have a couple of handy inclusions so you just never know.

I expect you'll win the flag, but I wouldn't get too cocky about players 'owning' other players just yet.
