'Geelong midfielder Tanner Bruhn has reportedly been interviewed by police over his knowledge of an alleged sexual assault.

The Herald Sun reported Bruhn and another man were spoken to by detectives from Victoria Police’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team last Thursday at Geelong Police Station.

It was in relation to an incident that took place in Belmont, in the Geelong suburbs, on February 5 last year.'

There is a Belmont in Perth, that is one of the worst suburbs here but it still seems like it's better than Belmont in Geelong.

Are there any good suburbs in Geelong? Their best paid players live outside of Geelong down on the surf coast like Danger.

The midfielder attended Geelong police station last Thursday, where he spoke with members of the sexual offences and child abuse investigation team.

Bruhn was not arrested and was free to leave after the interview.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the AFL told 7NEWS: “As it is a Victoria Police investigation, we are not in a position to make any further comment at this time”.

Geelong has been contacted for comment.

I'm not making excuses for anyone.

We'll wait and see what the outcome of the investigations are.

That you've posted this in the Bay speaks volumes.
It's disturbing that the child abuse investigation team are questioning him according to channel 7.
I think his career might be done.
