Mellington has caused more problems than what's he's worth. If your getting the albury version, that's great, but it being 6 years since he played there, no success since, the club will implode

I hope so with reversed results but given the quality of the competition it really could be anyone’s which is awesome

They have but after the way he was treated they might be finding it a bit hard to convince him to do it.

Agree Trent. Club umpires would be an absolute farce. Would deter said A graders in the future from joining you would think.

Club implosion??? That's extreme mate. The club has been successful for 12 or so years, some hot-head FF won't bring it to its knees. Carry on.

Not too sure, I spent most of the night thinking about Lalbert's new gameplan after watching them train earlier. Very reminiscent of the 2013-15 Hawks, Macleod wants them to chip around and keep possession. Very interesting if you ask me, considering the run and gun nature of todays game.

I thought it was solid enough, moved well around the ground, didn’t loose to many taps, 4th midfielder really, going to be good viewing him this season

He's on north of 1.5k a game, nully decided not to sign due to he's off field stuff and he's on the cusp of been deregistered from suspension.

Umpires should be paid more to entice ex players to take up umpiring. Blokes that were paid $500 a game to play aren’t going to umpire for $280

I’ve said it before but if the AFL are serious about grass roots footy they should be substantially funding umpires

From all reports I don’t blame Howden if he did not return, treated like shit from the Board.
Of any year, this year would be a great year to umpire and be out on the ground with the way the competition will be. Any ex-player should jump on board to help them out. Will be an exciting year

KDFL is a long way from O&M. Knowing of his off field issues, if I was involved at a club I wouldn’t touch him with a 10ft pole

Was pretty ordinary for Benalla in the GVFL last year. His best days on the field are done. Still a problem off the field.

All said the bloke can play footy, allot better than probably half us ever could If he does go to Woorinen as suggested I can see allot of opposition teams seeing his weaknesses and would expect a bit of niggle

The league board has decided to change the age groups of our junior comps. We now have U12, U15 and U18’s. Seams strange to change it 10 weeks before the season starts.
