Trent, you seem to have your finger on the pulse, so to speak, i just see the results from overseas now, I haven't seen a game for about 10 years. Who do you think should consider themselves very unlucky not to get a jersey? I would have thought there was some considerable talent from Cohuna, Kerang and Lalbert that would be disappointed in missing out.
Definitely lots of talent from those 3 teams but I’d imagine a lot of them didn’t want to play and drive up to Mildura for free

Instead of who was unlucky to miss out, what about who would be a walk in starter if every player was available?

Neagles x 3
Helman
Geary
Lang
Josh Nitschke
Hourigan
Post
Jose Miliado
Toumpas
Josh Williams
Connor Mcdonald

Also Doug beames, Marty Kelly, Brad Pay, Joel Campbell even the few top end talent Hay have as well, the list goes on. If everyone made themselves available “Central Rivers” would have a gun team

CENTRAL RIVERS INTERLEAGUE REVIEW

July 8, 2024

BY NATHAN DOLE
Central Rivers rolls to big win against Sunraysia
CENTRAL Rivers scored an 11-goal win against Sunraysia in the senior inter-league football match against Sunraysia on Saturday in Mildura.
After an evenly-fought opening term in which Robinvale Euston’s Joe Mezzatesta and Irymple’s Jake Thrum were on target, Sunraysia led 14-12 at Mildura Sporting Precinct.
From there on it was the Marcus Demaria-coached Central Rivers which dominated play.
A tally of 4.3 as it kept Sunraysia scoreless in the second put the CR team in front by 25 points at alf-time.
An attack led by Tyntynder’s Jayden Magro and Nyah Nyah West United’s Brandyn Grenfell capitalised on Central Rivers dominance in the second half.
Central Rivers scored 2.3 as the Don Falvo-coached Sunraysia added four behinds in the third quarter.
The CR team finished with plenty of run as it added 4.8 to 0.2 in the last to complete an 86-20 victory.
Magro finished with five goals in a best on ground performance as Grenfell kicked four.
Jye Barry, Woorinen’s Arnold Kirby and Koondrook Barham’s Mitch Christensen all kicked goals.
Best for Central Rivers were Jayden Magro, Balranald’s Jaxon Neagle, Tyntynder’s Roy George, Nyah Nyah West United’s Joel Walsh, Balranald’s Drew Lloyd, and Koondrook Barham’s Mitch Christensen.
Sunraysia’s best were Robinvale-Euston’s James Zappia, Merbein’s Matt Rix, Mildura’s Sam Kerridge and Mitch Rogerson, Irymple’s Jake Thrum, and Robinvale-Euston’s Braidyn Turner.

Tyntynder vs Kerang, a win for Tyntynder puts them into the top 5, a win for Kerang gets them closer to top spot.
Kerang by 2 goals.

Balranald vs Boga, must win for Bal to keep them in the top 5, should get it done easily.
