100% nothing to do with Dean, it’d be more the club aspect I think. Let’s be honest any club that finishes the season in the bottom few struggle to recruit the following year.

Makes it hard to move up from the bottom few if you cant get gun recruits to come to the club. They seem to have the best juniors coming through the ranks but struggle to take the next step to become A grade senior players.

The word going around is they have a car load coming with dibsdale ,for next year, and a few others but keeping it quite, as they do ,

Its a long way to drive back each week. I can't see many leaving newtown who have just appointed Stevie j to drive 8 hours a weekend and play good footy

If Kelly was going back to Macorna I think they would have announced it with all the bells and whistles they could find. It would be the biggest recruit they have had for years.

Dennis played a few seasons at Serp. Marty’s mother and father are both life members at Macorna.
