My understanding was, Hay were already looking at a move to Picola, and Macorna are having club discussions about joining the LVFL.
So rather then sit on their hands Ultima looked at what was best for them.

If the board member's aren't comfortable making uncomfortable decisions then its time to move on.
The board should be advocating to AFLCV to provide some form of strategic direction that can then be made public.
If AFL CV aren't/can't/won't, Then the board need to engage someone suitably qualified to develop a 10 year plan for CMFL & Golden Rivers.

Wilkinson ,is only a kid but be 5 points to play in the first's , 3 clubs in 3 year is a extra point, doesn’t make much sense to recruit 2 players of that age at such high points, and then to also put them in front of your club’s own kids ?

Don’t know that I have seen a club announcing 16/17 year old kids as recruits before. Just puts more pressure on them to perform.

Maybe they see themselves as a destination club for younger guys with pios ambitions and will prioritise them. Both Bremner's are in the pios and sounds like they are chasing scratchers son from wandella as well
