here here magic. they are just going to make themselves the laughin stock of the CMFL again. heard off a bloke down here that the guy that has just been cleared from the Berwick football club was on $800 per week down there so $$$ranald must be putting up more than that.
what no room for D Anderson to slip into either a back pocket where he starred for the bfl on the ball or even forward, he has to be a better player then half these guys selected

Balranald citizens sticking together I see. Suga your team had a few flaws firstly Lonergan in the forward pocket, please tell me the last time Lonergan played there, he is a very skillful player but has been a key back for the last few years. I think you should definitely do some research and maybe gain some knowledge before attempting to construct an ultimate team, and not just thieve names from previously posted teams and then continue to alter a few positions and then claim an original masterpiece.

There is a quite a bit of il feeling on this forum. Lets get back to footy boys. After the game on the weekend, do you beleive Lalbert maybe turning the corner. I realise that its only one game, but thats all it takes. I was good to hear that it was a very competitive game. Whats the story with Red Nut "Kingers" back in the blue and gold?
word was he had a fall out at muribit n wanted to leave, they signed a clearance n said go were ever u want, so he opted for the blue and gold n heard he performed well agaisnt the pies
fair call, fair call. Young Suga should be commended. Anyway back to footy, Balranald have turned the corner and showed that when they field a strong side they can beat anyone and they still have a few to come back in. There is no doubt that the Roos will be a prominent figure come finals time.
No disprespect to other peoplesopinions, but we should commending Suga on his acheivements not bringing him down. We should be happy that a kid from our area is acheiving so much. And FootyPie, no need to question Sugas commitment, there isnt to many people who train harder then the young fella.

Wat do people think about some of the footy write ups in the Guardian these days?? I have noticed a few to be quite negative, talking down the footy skills of some teams. Surely people rather read about the great passages of play on the day, wouldnt you agree?
guys maybe we could get back to talking about football issues and not having personal cracks at people especially at their sporting ability in another code. the amount of swearing that is being used at the moment is a bit over the top as well, if you cant make your point without swearing then you really have no chance of getting your point across...

i personally think that the quality of the football write ups has dropped over the last 3-4 years, especially since my namesake left. the friday pre match write ups are the same each week and don't include any comments from coaches or football departments which may prove that the writer may not be trying or that no one wants to give her anything (that is not a crack at her writing ability). we used to have a 4 page spread in the middle on mondays and fridays with great photos from around the grounds including junior and netballers and it has defiantely dropped off. i only purchase monday and friday papers for the footy and its disapointing that i can read it in 5 mins.

I was just quite disspointed after playing my best senior game yet as a young first year player to only read about our teams sloppy play.. As i said I think more papers would be bought if writers wrote about the courages play's in the game, great marks, glimpses of clean posesions ect

Good point memphis. i support your veiw and the one made by clif. there should be more speciall comments and pictures from around the grounds, n what happen to the good old days when the teams were in the paper every week. clubs should be forced to place there teams into the gaurdian each week!
