Gooch was 3rd for pressure acts tonight, also ran a game high KM for us. He was 4th against the Suns (Knight was 14th), and 3rd against the Swans (Knight was 6th).

But Knight is such an utter pest of a player. Feel we need his mongrel in a Showdown.

Occasionally Gibbs throws the ball on the boot and bombs it forward, but geez that would be the only knock on his game.

If Laird wasn't having a career year, he would be leading our B n F.

But who doesn’t do that occasionally. And when he does it, it often is to a contest. I have just been so impressed with Gibbs. I was in the camp that I wanted him, but not at the cost of 2 firsts. Boy did I get that wrong.

Im no Mackay fan. But for team balance, with Milera out, we would be well down in rebounders. Gibbs, Douglas and Sloane arent capable of playing enough time back there to cover as we prefer what they bring in the middle.
