Time to hear more from Godden. What's going on in the mid is a bit of a blank space. BF nuffies need to know!
Surprised to hear the crouches say they hadn’t discussed Fyfe with the coaches yet this week tonight.

No major issues, but disappointed Polhoke went out - he’s fought his way into the side and deserved a solid block of games.

Have we actually heard a comment like this from other assistant coaches in recent time?

Not really, but I don’t agree with what he’s saying. Unless it’s that they need to change how they set up and roll to maximise the Crouch strengths and natural games. If we’re going to try and change what comes naturally we’ll come unstuck. The most notable utterance was when Teague said that Mackay wasn’t best 22 at the moment. I’m sure he had to explain himself to the board over that gaff though.

Sorry , 01/01/00. Why can’t there be a first of January 0000. We’re all born at year O, why can’t the date be?
Ah but we're not born at year 0, we're born at the start of (our) year 1.

Why can't there be a 1/1/00? Because there just was no such year. The calendar went from 31/12/1BC to 1/1/1AD.

I mean, you won't find an ancient papyrus wall calendar with those dates on it :) but that's the convention that has been used since then.

This thing got done over so much at the time that NASA published an explanation on their website.

I’m not sure there was a BC calendar though. And to be fair, until the little lad rolled into his 20’s, there wasn’t really any need to reference BC or AC. I’m not sure what NASA had to say about it, but there wouldn’t have been a calendar reference at that ‘pivotal’ moment in time. I don’t think we need to be beholden to an error made over a thousand years ago any more than we need to still consider the Earth to be flat.

I just went to a very important and relevant source. MS Excel has day 1 as being Sunday the first of January 1900. If Excel thinks that day 1 is in the year 00, then that’s good enough for me.

Fun Facts with Grotto

Dockers have lost its past five matches at the Adelaide Oval by 25 or more points.

Crows has won nine of its last 10 Sunday matches at the Adelaide Oval.
Haha I havent seen this and have the Crows 24+ :D
