Being realistic ie knowing MC and mindful of the ground
OUT Lucas inj Walk susp
IN Warnock Ellard
Hammo to play FF and Hendo or Waite to go back for Walks. It could be argued however that we should/could have been developing Hammo as a FF in the Ants

Would like to put the cat amongst the pigeons however and add
OUT Carrots and Mitch (shade unlucky)
IN Hadley and Fish or Wiggo

OUT : Joseph, Carrazzo, Lucas
IN : Davies, Ellard, White

There are probably a few more changes to make, Joseph got exploited today, but was being played horribly out of position.

Carrazzo is offering us nothing at all.

Might be time to drop a high profile name. Gibbs is first to mind, he offers us very little other than his disposal, disposal that has been atrocious over the past couple of weeks. The defensive side of his game was borderline appalling today as well. If premiership players in Sewell and Lewis can be dropped, players yet to win a final certainly shouldn't be protected species.

Would far prefer to see O'hAilpin in for Hampson but that means only one dedicated ruckman. Hampson could still show something - in fact he could still show alot - but looks far too raw at the minute. O'hAilpin splits packs open with regularity and even if his performance is sub-par, I'd dare say the small forwards prefer working under Irish than under Hampson.

We went in FAR too young today, and with far too little experience in key posts.

and davies Ellard and White will improve this how?
They might get in and have a red hot go I agree but I hope people don't expect miracles from these guys

I don't know. It was clear on the replay that he slid a fair way though it was still a fairly reckless thing to do. Not as bad as it looked live.

On second thoughts, he might get off as they were going for a loose ball and you only have a split second to realize you are not going to win it and it could be argued that he then just braced himself.

Stupid Etihad turf. No one could change direction quickly without slipping.Thank god we only play there once more this year.

OUT: Walker, Carrazzo, Lucas:(
IN: Ellard, Johnson, Fisher/Wiggins

Joseph didn't play that bad at fullback considering he was out of position.

Carrazzo has just gotten worse.

Waite into the back line and Fisher/Wiggins to fill his spot in the forward line.

If Ellard plays a game... we are really in trouble.

IN: Passion, Teamwork, Belief.
OUT: Bullshit.

Nah, MC.

If Ellard plays a game, it's a reward for hard work and highlights a need for a tough inside midfielder... that isn't Brock Mclean (yet).

Ins and Outs look OK. If I were to replace them with players:

In: Ellard, Johnson, Mclean, Houlihan
Out: Lucas, Gibbs, Scotland, Carazzo

The last two are purely based on fitness. Although I'm not against a bit of a shake up.

Ratten needs to stop playing midfielders in defence.

Thornton------Jamison-------Bower

Russell---------Waite--------White

Scotland-------Judd--------Simpson

Walker-------Hendersen----Houlihan

Yarran--------Fisher---------Betts

Foll: Warnock, Gibbs, Murphy

Bench: Hampson, Carrazzo, Robinson, Garlett

after the last 2 weeks I think most say we are in trouble
Surely Ellard has worked hard enough, shows passion and is worth a look at
I agree we should not be in a position to need to play Ellard but this is where we find ourselves

I still haven't given up hope that our best still can come out over the next few weeks. Yes we have been nothing short of pathetic lately but I can't help but be optomistic, we still have exceeded expectations being where we are.

Give the boys one more week before canning them too much.

I have my fingers crossed that Walker may get off but I know he wont...
Will get cleared.

Look at the replay.

That collision was identical to the Judd-Lloyd bump from 2008 which was a case of two players going hard at the ball.

Walker turns his body and tucks the elbow in to bump a player who was contesting a loose ball.

They'll probably suspend Walker for going in hard like we want them to.

Would make a huge statement, and drop some big name players.

Out: Gibbs, Murphy, Carrazzo.
In: some kids who want to prove a point.

Kids who will at least have a go!

OUT: Carrazzo, Joseph, Gibbs, Lucas (inj)
IN: Fisher, Ellard to start with

This is what the match committee should go with. Get some experience back in the side in addition to rewarding blokes that have been playing well in the two's.

In:
Ellard
Fisher
Davies
Houlihan

Out:
Joseph
Carrazzo
Lucas (inj)
Robinson
