Thought due to the lack of depth in our talls that another year might be worthwhile, but its pretty clear that we need to move on beyond Charlie. There's no obvious replacement , where just going to have to find another forward structure.

Ollie Lord has been in awful form but sometimes you get a surprise packet who bobs up in finals. Last year he was not in sparkling form and kicked four goals against Brisbane in the first final, more than Charlie has ever contributed in a final. After that final against Geelong, Dixon shouldn’t have been considered for selection ever again.

It's really a shame that his career has gone the way it has.
Under the right gameplan he could have been a match winning power forward.
Instead he retires having 1 excellent season, 2 good seasons and a bunch of nothing seasons

So heard from a reliable source that last week he was out because he basically had a panic attack. Whilst physically he ain't 100%, Mentally I believe he's actually cooked. In no way making light of this because mental health issues plague many people, but you've got to question whether playing him based on this alone was a good idea. The last few games he's looked like a guy who had forgotten how to play the game.

He has documented mental health issues. He talks about it quite often. I won't divulge the source, but it is somebody who would know.

Being selected and trying to achieve what the body can't do any more wouldn't be helping his state of mind.

I'm not a fan and haven't been for a long time, but he doesn't select himself.

Because a) there is vision of him doing an on ground fitness test before the Hawthorn game and b) I've heard nothing of the sort from my own sources.

Somewhat unpopular opinion, but I honestly think that moving on from the Dixon era is even more important than sacking Hinkley.

To add further weight, someone with whooping cough would be isolating. Rozee has a baby and whooping cough can be fatal for infants. I don't believe a single word that comes from the club.
