Collingwood fans (the first set of fans to boo him): Booooo!
The league and media: "DON'T BOO HIM"
YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! BOOOOOOOO!
The only set of fans who have a reason to boo him are North fans, it doesn't really make much sense for others to do so. Tom Boyd never copped it.
And just when he should be writing the Crows version of "12th and Loving it!"Rucci the ferret was playing his usual role as Port-apologist this arvo. Predictable response.
The janitor wouldn’t have to. No-ones shit stinks or sticks like Power’s does. It's the Dennis Armfield syndrome
People are at a football club in whatever role. You have your job to do. But you become part of the team, you want them to win, you do whatever you can.
The janitor would scrub the home toilets with a bit more rigour than in the away rooms.
I dont think premiership points are the answer. It would be funny more then hurt them. They are limping towards the finals. It would mean nothing. They need long term hurt beyond this season.
Take away $500k from their 2024 Salary Cap and give it to Concussion Research

I'd imagine it would be a big fine 100 or 200k with 1/2 suspended, but fine removed from soft cap.... Even if the AFL are picking up the bill, in essence, the penalty is equivalent or 1 or 2 staff members. All this talk about Port sanctions.
I get the feeling this will turn out similar to the Hawthorn racism scandal. Nothing much in the end.
Fines at worst which will mean nothing.

A soft cap fine may though. A few clubs were given those during the covid yearsPA wont allow it as it hurts the players. A fine is a waste of time and not a disincentive.
Bloody hell, that's the first I've heard of that.Only from his own team mates. How many days could you open your locker with your clothes in it to find Jakey had put one of his turds in there and the rest of his mates laughing. What happened to Boyd was far worse than what Horne is dealing with
you have a 119% chance of that not happening.I’d be happy to let this go but only if Port are stripped of the 2004 premiership
BF failed a concussion test....Did BF just crap out for an hour or did I imagine it?
No no it was just a migraine.
My question is, I understand the AFL will penalise PORT .....BUT, what would happen if Port had won the game, and Allir had a significant impact on the result ?
He also said he was very very comfortable with the doctor's decision... That also poses some questions he saw it happen as we all did and he would have known but hey he was straight on the phone wasn't he, would love a recording of that callHe is filth that Davies character - could he throw the doctor under the bus anymore and wipe his own and Dumb Ken’s hands clean. Hinkley was on the bench and saw them both knocked out - an absolute snapshot of how the heads think down that way - no moral fibre between them.
a disgrace of a cult
It depends how many premiership points because if it's like enough to put them in the bottom 4 and not play finals + hand North at top 4 pick then the AFL could kill two birds with one stone.Fines won't mean anything, premiership points being stripped less so.
I'm all in on draft and FA sanctions.
It depends how many premiership points
Oh?
They'll have a hard time making anything serious stick. The 'Migraine' claim was ridiculous but Jones didn't actually resume play.
And it's plausible you could miss the signs of Aliir's concussion with the wrong viewing angle (it only looks obvious from the low-angle shot from the Scoreboard end IMHO.) Depends if they log what footage is viewed on those bench ipads/monitors.
The AFL will issue some charge based on a procedural technicality that won't be worth challenging for Port.
Mate papa g mustbe thick as cement someone asked why both went into concussion protocals today his reply was Optics like wtf what happened if alir collapsed on the ground do they not get it ?some crows player said they knew he wasnt right it was reported

Only the down the ground one had the ‘fencing’ reaction clearly visible. You could conceivably write the footage of other angles off as just momentum from the collision. On every single angle you could see Aliirs body go totaly limp in mid air.
