How so; genuinely interested?
From all reports, he's trying to force through a move and that he's refusing to train with the rest of the team...

Seems like an uncharacteristic move from Luiz. I thought he would be up for challenge to fight for his place. If he wants the easy option then good riddance.

I’m glad we’re breaking up the Brazilian, Spanish and Belgian cliques in our squad.

Which one?

He's a name always brought up when it comes to player revolts being the reasons for managers leaving. Happened with Conte, there was about it with Sarri too. Willian is another.

Toys out of the cot: multiple stories, but seemingly didn't like that he didn't play in the last friendly and is kicking up a stink. Whether he's refusing to train or has been removed from training I'm not sure.

Apparently he was removed from training from Lampard himself, due to ongoing distruptive influences, thats just what I read anyway. If so, good move from Lampard, don't want anyone kicking up a stink if things don't go their way.

Is it? He had a major falling out with Conte and was on the outer with Mourinho before he went to PSG. Pattern of sooking rather than fighting.

Conte had a falling out with everyone though. He was the common denominator in all of our rifts that season. All Luiz did was speak up about who should play on what side in the back three and Conte froze him out of the side all together. You just have to look at Conte’s treatment of Costa to understand how little patience he has.

Mourinho is another manager who simply does not get along with players. Two clubs downed tools to get him sacked. Highlighting Luiz’s relationships with Mourinho and Conte probably says more about the latter two than anything else.

And by uncharacteristic, I’m referring the fact he openly states he considers Chelsea home and is one player that genuinely bleeds for the badge when he takes the pitch. He wears his heart on his sleeve. I can’t say the same for a lot of our other players. He strikes me as a fighter, so I find it strange he has given up so easily.

Be interesting to see how his little mate Willian reacts, sooner CHOs fit the better.
Willian strikes me as someone professional, so I think he'll continue to focus on the task at hand.

Sucks, but should correlate with Zouma getting a heap more games.

Always been a favourite of mine, hopefully he gets back to that form he showed before the injury.

Does this now mean SarahSmiles is now an Arsenal fan...
This most certainly does not. I'm sure I'll find another Brazilian with hair like mine one day...
Luiz's conduct over the past few days has made me loose a great deal of respect for him

The more I’ve read about Luiz’s departure, the more I realise that Luiz is all about Luiz and not the club.

I hate nothing more than players with such an attitude so forgive me if I see through the disingenuous post by him about his departure.

Intrigued to see how we line up on Monday morning.

................Kepa
Azpi Zouma Christensen Emerson
...........Kovacic Jorginho
.......Pedro Barkley Pulisic
..................Tammy

Would be my guess going by the preseason. Willian and Rudiger and Kante not quite ready. Mount to come on at the 60.

Sadly, a pretty uninspiring line-up to be honest.

Yeah I dunno, I don't think it's too bad all things considered. It's not going to challenge City and Pool but we'll be in the mix with United, Arsenal and Spurs for best of the rest.

A few question marks for me,

Barkley or Mount as the 10?

Is Kante ready, we all know how much he makes us better.

CF is the big worry, we need one of Giroud, Tammy or Batman to really step up.

Rudiger, CHO, Willian need to get fit ASAP.
