Was so great to hear the crowd supporting Timo so much. Been so long that the social media fans have been the loudest, nice to hear the matchday fans still have his back. And I feel like he was thriving off it as well.
 
After Leicester scored, the chelseayouth Twitter account posted a dumb "press resistant or something" (about Kovacic) tweet and I replied "Bad mistake but dumb comment as well"

not to dominate the thread but if you watch Silva during the scuffle this morning, as soon as he recognises Amartey he loses his shit at him. Mount too.

When Mount turns and realises who it is he looks as though he's about to have a swing at his head. Love to see the passion from Silva too and to add the cherry on top Amartey got carded
 


I was genuinely thinking this morning what type of bid would have to come in for me to accept Mount leaving and I came to the conclusion that there was none. Even if it happened, I wouldn't like it. I might understand it but I wouldn't like it.

He is the new Mr Chelsea in my eyes.

A team would have to buy Chelsea to get Mount.
 
Feel like we're limping into the CL final and City should be rested and primed.
Come on boys, just give it one last 90 minutes (plus extra time if required).
 
We desperately need Kante to be fit.
Hopefully Christensen and Havertz will be good to go as well.

If so, then I think we have a good chance.
 
Won't have a lot of faith without Kante.

Otherwise just going to try and enjoy the game more this time around. I was a nervous wreck back in 2012. But that may have been because we hadn't secured CL qualification and thought that could be the end of us for a while. May well have been true because I don't think we would have landed Hazard without it.
 
So I think at the end of the game we saw what Tuchel is likely planning to use next season. 4-2-4 which he used at PSG.

At that stage I think it was:
Kepa
Azpi - Silva - Rudiger - Chilwell
James - Ziyech
Pulisic - Havertz - Werner - Mount

Or some combination of this. And we looked more threatening when Havertz came on.
 
If we are planning on playing 4 at the back we'll need to buy a better CB and a decent CDM or we're ****ed.

Weigl or Tchouameni seem the CDMs we are chasing which is nice, CB looks a more open field. Plus we need another CF to replace Tammy and Giroud. But im keen to see the Germans get a preseason together and think they'll make a great duo.
