Couldn't get it done on a cold wet night in Liverpool, Jackson had two good chances.

Fulham deserved to win that, we were outplayed in the second half and seemed tk try to play out 1-0 instead of going for killer instinct. Our full backs couldn't handle Iwobi, Traore and Bassey and shows how important a fit James is, but we can't rely on that happening.

Maresca also really needs to use subs better. Either leaves them too late or not enough when things aren't working, only one is a bit ridiculous.

Plus choosing Felix over Samu as the Atletico player to replace Gallagher is looking more terrible by the week.

Something to do with image rights, though it feels like we dropped him for Felix once we knew he was gettable. Our Sporting Directors were/are big fans.

Big mistake not signing a CF to compete with Jackson. I'd rather give Guiu a shot over what Nkunku delivers.

Osimhen on loan would have had us nailed on to at least 2nd, he was keen too.

If I was a betting man I'd put it all on Delap as the one we'll bring in next summer.

Gutted. For a moment, I thought we might have been title contenders but the bubble has well and truly burst.

We've made good progress over the calendar year, but there's no denying we've finished 2024 off poorly.

The aim now is top 4 and to qualify for the Champions League.

It was nice to dream for a couple of weeks, but realistic goal has always been top four which would be a hugely successful season for us

Yeah, Enzo gave him a glowing wrap pre the last game. How well Delap did under him at city under 21s

That awful pass which led to Ipswich's 2nd goal was a real slap in the face.
