Its on the Back page of todays Courier CHFL will be playing Ellinbank DFL who been out of interleague for 6 years CHFL has to travel also in the same section as Horsham & District FL & MCDFL .

at my local pub yesterday a friend told me mark blake is considering heading to carngham linton. Mark has had alot of offers around geelong but he is looking to play outside geelong
 
The gunnell boys are playing at darley next year. A huge loss for gordon. Beaufort throwing alot of $$ around aswell. Going hard this year they are!
 
Does anyone know what happened to Daniel Schaper from Clunes?
I have heard a few rumours that he signed on at Roosters just wanted to confirm it? Would have thought he was a 2's player at best if that. Didnt think he could kick over a jam tin

I hear that the coach at Ballan is throwing big money at players who played Div 2 reserves for a club in the WRFL last year.
 
ok... its been a while since Ive been on here, but there is not much happening. Wheres 'Learmonth' to stir some crap when needed. Lets see if we can start some conversations up. 8 weeks from round 1. Couple of talking points for some clubs from first clearances in and talk on here and around town.

Daylesford - Luke Beattie gone - Big Loss. Heard Cummings has come back very big after the summer!

Ballan - James Aquilina - Dont think he played much last year - but when he did was their only name up forward. Who's going to kick their goals. Not much talk about players in.

Hepburn - James Brothers - Heading north again, fairly regular thing these days. Opens up the cheque book for someone else I suppose.

Dunnstown - Aaron Sawyers - Dont think he played last year either, but bet they were hoping hed be around this year. Can play.

Springbank - Nick Toohey - Back to his home club again. Not sure how he'll go getting a game in the 1's these days. Has a crack, but is he up to it?

Gordon - Talk of Gunnells leaving - All made up rumours and they are staying put I hear. Happy where they are after Gordon signed Tye Murphy from Lake Wendouree 1's as Assistant coach.

Newlyn - Their big talk for their recruits starting to come to paper with Faull, Blomly, Sewell etc clearances in. A force?

Beufort got a few in. Will improve?
 
Hey Guys, I am thinking of creating a supercoach competition for the CHFL. This is just some preliminary ideas but because we don't have access to the amount of statistics that the AFL does, we will have to modify the game slightly. Some early ideas i have though of is if a player is:
  • 1st best: 100 points
  • 2nd best: 90 points
  • 3rd best: 80 points.
  • 4th best: 70 points.
  • 5th best: 60 points.
  • 6th best: 50 points.
  • Goal: 20 points.

Ive heard Ballan have picked up Anthony Kitchen from werribee centrals. Has kicked plenty in that comp over the years. Older now but will still take a clubs top 2 defender. Can anyone confirm him signing on.
