everyone mentions waubras talls but we dont even have that many. we only have 3 massive players in hobson, lewis and miller. miller plays like a rover anyway. everyone else isnt even that tall so i dunno where this perception that were a big dopey tall side comes from. it will be a cracker game this week too. im backing the winner to make the granny as i believe hepburn will go out in straight sets
i fully agree with this, both wauba and ballan would smash hepburn with the bigger bodies.

tips:
waubra v ballan:
should be a great match, last time they met at ballan waubra only won by a point.. there will definetly be some sore bodies after this one. i think we (waubra) are really working well together everyone seems to be in it for eachother and are hitting close to top form, that being said ballan have a very good midfeild. waubra by 18 points

daylesfod v hepburn:
i rate dylesfod alot more than hepburn. there both fairly similar teams in regards to pace and skills but daylesfod seem to be alot better drilled side than those hepburn scumbags.

haha m8 u dont have a clue do u just because u dont like us as people should not affect ure comments on us as players we arent well liked so everyone writes us off but ask any neutral observer who was 1st 2nd and 3rd best sides for the year use were clearly bottom of that list m8 i dont like many of u dopey waubra ****ers but atleast i dont let that impede my thoughts on u as players and i can say use are a very good team 2 bad there isnt much home grown talent in the team

who cares waubra is a tiny town who is lucky to even have a club that being said they are a very successful club, and have alot of locals playing and who cares if they get there mates to come out and play.. they are still apart of the team and wear the jumper with pride how about you just focus on your own side...

i will my main point was that we arent liked because we are a successful club and i dont think people rate us as players cause they are biased againt us... and successful club u cant be talkin bout waubra wtf has there club done recently? and we are all locals guess we just breed success down these parts

they have played in finals the last 5 years played in 2 grand finals won a flag and looking good this year how is that not successful thsi is all without throwing 1000s and 1000s at there players like hepburn so yes i would say they are a successful club

All the Waubra locals who are old enough to play juniors are playing, there is just a real lack of numbers that way. Its not our fault we dont have enough kids to have an under 15 side, but one of our best under 15 players was forced to move clubs if he wanted to play in his own age group and he has just about been his clubs best player.
the seniors have been in every finals series since 2005 and won it in 06, and reserves won it in 07, and finally a junior side has made it to the finals for the first time in 12 years, thats recent success if i'm not mistaken, for a town not even half the size of hepburn or daylesford they're doing a good job.
all you boys have a crack at us saying we are a team of imports, we just have alot of boarders, sorry for them chosing to play for us, what are they suppose to do, just not play footy?

quality players! one of them just won the league best and fairest mate!

our under 15s were the number 1 deffensive side in the comp, have a look at the stats!
Creswick under 18s only had about 3 kids who polled votes, C Hepworth who got a shit load, L Hepworth who got about 16 and Antonio who got about 2 votes. Daylesford, Hepburn, Waubra, Springbank, Ballan and Bungaree had alot more than 3 players who polled votes and thats why they didn't have players who won the league b&f. Caleb Hepworth is a very good player dont get me wrong, but if Drew Pearce and Paddy Dwyer played as many games as Caleb did i wouldn't be suprised if one of them won it or maybe even a 3 way tie

yer and he will most likely leave the club just like all your other gun juniors do eg grant bell and brad lockyer they dont want to play in a shit side that loses every week so they leave.. that not showing a successful club what so ever

yeah brad is playing good footy up in queenland.
and belly is about to break into the north ballarat senior team.
just taking a step further from this league mate. getting the best out of themselves.

and you dont think that tim and shaun mullane or paul dodds could play a higher level.. yes they could but as being locals it is loyalty wich is the key to a successful club something creswick is not

drew is a better player than caleb.
haha playing 2 or 3 quarters every week and still getting three votes mate. he played seniors as well.

belly comes back to play for creswick every time he gets the chance. at least his not wasting his time in a spud league like this, and chasing money.

he played 4 quarters against us.
well it just shows the difference between the top 5 sides (maybe bunga)
and creswick. Depth!
