Surely it should not come as a surprise that he is going to need a good 6 - 8 games under his belt to get up and going. Last night was his 3rd game in 6 months and has to get back into the swing of things. The signs will be obvious with him taking the opposition on and kicking over 50 meters. I have a lot of confidence that he will have a good 2nd half of the year and knock those knockers over in the process. I am more concerned with Fev than Juddy.

Exactly right.

I really am staggereat the amount of people questioning his performances.

We all knew that he would be quiet over the first few months. He'll gradually get better but we all knew that it would take time.

this thread is pretty much just a worry-mill. wait until after the mid-season break, that's when he should be hitting his straps. judge him then.

even underdone like he is now he is still very valuable to the team.

judd always grimmices even when 100% fit...its his 'im sucking in the air' look, and he often does it with his hands on his head. I wouldnt look at his face as a sign of his fitness. Give him time, too early to make bold calls yet about how bad the injury is long term.

What! More Judd threads... just gives weight of reason towards his immediate de-listing

Agree. Think Ratts and the club in general have pretty much run out of patience with him. Sorry, Chris. Time to perform or I can't see you being around much beyond this season. Don't care about the contract mate, we need players with skills who are willing to show them.

This is not a troll and I am not trying to bring up his injury on purpose or anything like that. I was waiting for the season to start to make any calls on Judd's fitness. When Judd was looking for opinions on his groin injury, there was strong rumour at the time that one surgeon had told him he would need an operation done that would keep him out until mid to late year. However, Judd chose to have a band-aid solution operation if you like because he felt he couldn't stay out that long.
Now it is obvious to see in the first 2 games that Judd is not right. And this is not due to MATCH FITNESS. Match fitness does not bring back that natural turn of speed or evasive skills. He has still done considerable work over the pre-season to gain his pace back. There is no doubt that there is still lingering pain in his body. That said, I honestly wish him all the best because hes one of the most natural players to ever play the game and it would be a great shame if he didn't return to his best.

Judd said himself half way through the season is where he thinks he will start going at full capacity where only in round 2 ....
judd threads are getting annoying !

Spot MTS. I wouldn't expect Judd to be going anywhere near full tilt until around mid-year. He even said so himself.
