What are the penalties on such statements by Masten? No more throwing dumb insults or piping up about the result.
For me:
Scenario 1. Anywhere from nothing to still getting weeks.
Scenario 2. Anywhere from 3 weeks onwards.
Scenario 3. Anywhere from nothing to still getting weeks.

Others opinions on punishment?

About right for 1 and 3. If an intentional bite then looking at a harsher penalty, more like minimum 4 weeks

Seriously shit like that happens every game - and if he bit him for that, he's a knob and deserves to go.

I'm not convinced on that footage about anything ....it will come down to the medical evidence.

it's not supporting biting, but you don't want to believe that. It is not proved yet that Masten bit the turd. If he did, I'm quite sure he'd want a tetanus shot after...all those cocker germs, ya know. Look, if and when it is proved that deliberate biting took place then Masten will pay the penalty. But Suban has history and is not lily white. You are assuming a crime that has not yet been proved. And saying you would rather your child got hit rather than bitten does your cause no good at all either.

Taking it out of context a little. If I had the unfortunate choice of my child getting either (a) hit or (b) bitten, by another child, I think I would prefer they got hit. Hitting rarely involves blood, saliva etc Clearer?

I can speculate too.
Suban could say yes I laid a tackle but then something grabbed my arm and I couldn't shake it off and became entangled further. On release I realised he had bitten me and commented so and showed the umpire.
Sounds stupid doesn't it?
When you speculate with your team colours on it does.
Yours is very plausible but also laughable in that players tackle and wrestle all the time. Biting is something you choose to do. It's not a reflex.
Get your forearm. Not open your mouth and shove your forearm into your mouth... Have you bitten yourself yet? Why not? Why hasn't that reflex kicked in? Why doesn't it happen more often or even in UFC?
If guilty. He meant to do it. But if you disagree that's why I had different scenarios. Masten won't plead guilty. He'll defend himself and probably get more character witnesses or Eagles to wear suits to his hearing. It's how it done at West Coast.

I see broken skin. I'm no doctor but would be getting some shots as it would probably be enough to transfer a number of diseases he has across. I recon Suban will have shit tats and a pony tail in 12 months.

People can also state they've been bitten when they have not. If Masten's teeth were exposed and Suban's arm came into contact with it, it's reasonable to think Suban would think he was bitten. Not saying this is what went down, but because someone thought they were bitten doesn't guarantee that was the case.

At this point all we can do is wait for player interviews to come out.
