After being scragged in the face I`m sure some contact would of been made between mouth / teeth and arm, after seeing the footage.

Very surprised if any charge is laid.

Not at all, but again, we had conclusive evidence that Vickery hit Cox. Nothing of the sort proving beyond reasonable doubt that Masten bit Suban.

On-field umpires made notice of an alleged bite on Nick Suban by Chris Masten in the Western Derby match.

Well I'd doubt Suban was making it up. What a scumbag Masten must be.

You can bite with your bottom teeth - unless he wears a double mouth-guard

He'd have a harder time taking a chunk out, but his bottom teeth could easily do some damage. The mouth-guard could easily grip enough for him to clamp with his bottom row of teeth

It'd be bloody hard ... and not exactly something one would automatically think would come straight to mind.

Masten "may" have bitten him. Only those two would know.

But any assessment of a deliberate action is spurious with the publicly available information

The likelihood of Suban's actions bringing it upon himself (not by retaliation) is just as likely an explanation.

Think that's because lack of guidelines on this sort of incident rather than a damning sign, pretty sure was either going to the tribunal or getting thrown out, no other option. Will be interested to see what happens.

Okay? So there's a photo with a slight mark on his arm? The only thing that that is conclusive evidence of is something happened to his forearm, that doesn't prove Masten intentionally bit his arm. Do you have any reasoning skills?

I agree it would have been a lot harder to do, but not impossible

Suban has most likely got his arm in Mastens face in the follow through of the tackle and I'm guessing his arm has ended up near (possibly even in) Masten's mouth and he has clamped down on his arm during the struggle when they were wrestling

Not saying what either has done is right, but that's probably how it's happened. This isn't some Suarez-esque type incident but biting is biting and it's not just a physical action, but a very OH&S issue and goes beyond that of what can be assessed by the MRP - especially as it was teeth on bare skin

It would need to be proved to be deliberate... that's a fairly telling element

Even a clamping down is just as likely to be caused by Suban launching onto Masten from behind.

I just think deliberately biting with a mouthguard in appears a very strange action.

I agree that with zero evidence and simply the two men's word against each other - that Crowley should have got off.

However the '300' comment was little more than exasperation leading to exaggeration - like telling your kids a million time to pick the toys up.
