Rushed to hospital after the game... has lost a lot of blood... had his splien removed.

A couple of things;

- not in critical condition
- apparently the rupturing of the spleen doesnt provide much initial discomfort, aside from a slight tingling in the left shoulder.

That said, get well soon Chris.
(and TB dont have an established backup QB...)

They have suggested that he has lost a lot of blood however and he has been operated on and had it removed... is this not correct?

It would be more than enough discomfort i'd imagine... very concerning.

Hah, Gradkowski is the man. Sixth round pick out of Toledo, and he already jumped former niners starter Rattay on the depth chart in training camp. Gruden loves him, which is a good sign. Nothing like being thrown in at the deep end...
