I am really quite disappointed in Yarran. His attitude was poor and whatever his off field issues were, Carlton was not the cause of them.
I can't see what his fascination in Richmond is all about: they are not likely to be contenders any time soon and he knew 2 guys there, Grigg and Hampson.
For all that, the thing that irritates me the most is that he left as he did and did not try in any way to see that we got fair recompense. Even Carlisle did that for Essendon and they really are ordinary.

At the end of it all people i feel just about the same as everybody else on yarran its best he moved on and I'm actually glad to see him gone what a waste of a talent . But I don't think last year he was the only culprit for a poor attitude and workrate every game up until malthouse was sacked was just deplorable never would one see a more lackluster lot the effort was pathetic and even towards the end of the year I felt the workrate was dropping again at times . For that reason and hopefully a much better run with injuries we should atleast be competitive next year surely we will see a better workrate willingness to tackle and harass and do the things that are needed to win games . If we can keep close to our best side I wouldn't be surprised if we cause a couple of upsets .
The main thing is we have to give ourselves a chance and that will only come with hard work and a supporter base that is there all the way and supporting the club and team to the hilt .

I hope we can surprise Richmond in Round 1. The more he opens his mouth, the happier I am that he has left. We want guys who want to play football and play for Carlton, not for himself.

Been in a good paddock over the break.

What a pointless article.

Let's measure all players on how many Browlow votes they accrue...pfft.

Plenty of players provide solid, consistent output for their teams and never accrue a single vote. I'd rather a guy who does his job week in week out without fail than a guy who has the odd blinder and then disappears for the rest of the season.
Did Michael Tuck earn a Brownlow vote in his entire career?
