Hello guys, not a blues fan but have spent time in Ireland invoved in gaelic football and letting you know something that hasn't been in the media. Louth underage player Ciaran Byrne is currently on a 2 week stay at the blues and has unofficially agreed a 2 year rookie contract for next year. He is a quick forward and elite underage player who has also had a share of injuries.

Hope his other exploits don't get in the way.
I searched for video of the young bloke and got the same results Harks. Of course I thought it was too obscure and not funny enough to post. ;)

Okay, what can you tell us about the right fella? Cheers
Just that he is a stand out underage player, height and weight I am not sure exactly but would be a small AFL player, there is nothing on the net about him at all but was just living in the same area and friends of his have told me that he is out here now and is coming back next year, as his twitter suggests. I have asked back there and the word is he is a stand out kid with injuries the only concern

Anyone know how old Ciaran is?

Great to have a player outside our list allowance with fresh blood and enthusiasm.

Now, just to get another 6 - 8 of the right kids in the drafts.

18 or 19, I think. He's never played for Louth's seniors.

Woohoo.

Karma for the Hawks for poaching Kilkenny last year. Reckon having Tuohy around will help with settling in etc.
