Louth underage player Ciaran Byrne is currently on a 2 week stay at the blues and has unofficially agreed a 2 year rookie contract for next year. He is a quick forward and elite underage player who has also had a share of injuries.

Just that he is a stand out underage player, height and weight I am not sure exactly but would be a small AFL player, there is nothing on the net about him at all but was just living in the same area and friends of his have told me that he is out here now and is coming back next year, as his twitter suggests. I have asked back there and the word is he is a stand out kid with injuries the only concern

“Ciaran has agreed to join us as a Category B for 2014 and ’15,” McKay said.

“Ciaran’s a good athlete and a good running player, in keeping with all Gaelic footballers,” McKay said. “He stands 6’2 or 6’3 in the old measurement and is quite an athletic player.”
