What does it say?
The AFL has urged a high profile player to extend their holidays after some unwanted visitors were parked outside his house, football figures have told The Source.
A Maserati is said to have been spotted near the player’s home, carrying some heavily tattooed passengers usually seen on two-wheeled transport.
It’s claimed the AFL Integrity Unit heard about the guests and politely told the player to book in some more nights away.
There were concerns about the player’s family and their safety, a source claimed.
The parked car was believed to be for someone the player knew, not them, but the AFL was allegedly still worried enough to make the call.
AFL players have long been targeted by criminal underworld figures looking to find high profile customers to bring a party together.
Their high profile salaries also make them profitable targets for extortion attempts.
The Herald Sun is not suggesting any player has done anything wrong, just that it has been claimed they had received some unwanted attention.

Anyone heard that he might have been told that he won't be playing this year?

Doesn’t make sense IMO, unless the bridge between club and player is totally burnt (which I doubt as whilst he’s clearly off the rails he’s still a star player and clubs are patient with you if you’re a gun).

Nothing surer than it being a Melbourne player...

There is always clauses in a contract. He had an obligation to fulfill his end. He clearly isn’t doing that.

depends upon why though. Is there an argument that MFC have contributed to whatever is causing his supposed breach. One thing you can be certain of is that the AFL and clubs avoid anything negative occurring in the public space.

So if Clarry is living with Gawn and the bikies weren’t there for clarry as reported, they must have been there for Gawn. Oof. What pies does big gawny have his fingers in! Troubling times.

He was kicked out of Gawns about 6 weeks ago.

So, are the AFL keeping tabs on players' houses? That whole thing is odd as *

How do you know this? Thought he was in Echuca

Underrated post. Melbourne's culture is and has been cooked. Remarkable they got that flag. Have been underachieving since and will continue to underachieve for the next 5 or so years.
Saw videos of him sent via a certain social media app. Rolling into a friends house, ready to party.
