But, remember clubs often have different formulas to how they vote for their BEST player awards, and it often has little to do with being the Fairest.

At Club Level, Votes are often cast by different people and I have noticed over the years, some of those people aren't always the best judge of who has / hasn't had good day in the office. Sometimes, Coaches too, have a vote and they have different criteria / knowledge on who has fulfilled their role the best aswell.

In comparison, most umpires have enough trouble making the right calls let alone picking who were the 3 Best players on match day.

All that said and done, I.M.H.O I don't think there would be too many gripes over the top 10 or so of this years count, and Meese certainly stood out in the 4 games I saw of him this year
