Ah if it isn't Carlton Draught you fat prick. Surely your not disgracing the game by going around again.

How in god's name could the Hampton men be looking forward to a season when the chance of a solitary victory is zero?

I'll be going around again in premier b so you won't be seeing me buddy. Enjoy playing clubbies, hope you have a good year and best of luck to all. :thumbsu:

how about if you dont play clubbies you dont chat in the clubbies thread.

i know that this forum has turned in to the premier forum of the VAFA, no need to be jealous.

maybe you can round up a few "mates" and get it going in the premier B, because we dont need you in here, we have plenty of posters.

this goes for whispers too.

I think you better stop posting in the d4 thread then?

Hey Power, Did you play in the pracky game against Ormond on Friday?
I wasnt there but heard it was a training drill for the poo browns!

Sorry Beamsy, work comes first. But if I was there you would've read about it in the Herald Sun :D

As long as I get to play against Hampton I'll be happy as Larry. Nothing pumps up your tyres more then running a Saturday morning training drill against Uncle Mick and his hack mates

I'll be sure to get 50 touches against you blokes next time rather than the 40 I got last time...maybe then I won't be considered a 'hack'.

You can have as much of it as you like Power, as long as its in your backhalf for the duration, we're sure to kick a bag. Metzy wants to improve on the 11 he kicked last year!

Metzy's washed up. He's an old man with 2 kids now! I can assure you the new coach won't allow him to kick anywhere in the vicinity of 11 this year.
UM, I saw the great man on the weekend & he's looking a million bucks & absolutely cherry ripe for another great year. Maybe you will have to play on him when we meet?

I see there are fixtures for Club XVIII 1 and North on the VAFA website.

Does anyone know why Old Ivanhoe and Uni Blacks have Clubbies teams but aren't putting a side in Premier B Thirds?

I thought when the Thirds were started last year that the idea was that Premier and Premier B clubs would field a Thirds team rather than a Clubbies team.

Pretty happy to see a clubbies at Ivanhoe AFC for the first time that I can recall in the 24 years at the club........now where did I put those boots?:D

Chump.

Slammin' Sammy - as far as I'm aware some of the onus is at the discretion of the clubs. Ideally the VAFA wanted all Premier B clubs to have a 3rds side playing in the same comp, but they had to be flexible and realistic about it.
At Hampton Rovers we're well aware our 3rds aren't up to a Premier B 3rds standard and subsequently requested to remain in South. I can only presume the other clubs you've mentioned did something similar.

Banyule was in the grand final last year, and uni black finished top 4, yet both are in the clubbies division now.... how did the vafa allow that?

If anything, you'd think the bottom sides would go down, and the ones at the top of clubbies would go up.

I thought the same thing. Also, can anyone tell me what the deal is with Prahran. They are a pretty poor D2 outfit, yet have been in the top Clubbies division for years.

For the record, don't expect much out of the Old Paradians Club XVIII side this year. Their twos were average in our practice match, so unless they've got a few Clubbies gems hidden away, they won't trouble the win column too often in 2011.

According to the fixture it appears so. It defeats the purpose of the North & South zoning if they even up the groups.
HR get an extra week of pre-season training under their belt. power20 has been flying on the track. Could be an early favourite for the comp B&F.

Big call for the B&F!

Fair to say he likens his game to that of Robert Murphy, skirting around picking up cheap possessions in the back half and this doesnt win you the league B&F!

On behalf of the Richmond Centrals, I apologise to those that are forced to play at 9:30 against us.

Does anyone know why there have given 3 teams a bye in round 12? We don't play for 2 straight weeks.
