I know 27 pages is a long read but I have been constructive on this thread and have only really replied to others instead of making statements. Big hummer is the one that get's under your skin

Go make another Alias with Nodder in the name to back you point of views up

on a totally different topic, i know we are the bottom grade of clubbies, therefore not much care taken towards us from the vafa but is there some sort of team of the year or best finals player, or even BOG on grand final day?

can someone shed some light on past years

All i know is that an Ormond bloke has won the comp. B&F for Clubbies south.
He will be presentaed with his medal after the GF on Sunday

Another ranga experimenting with blonde/white tips that paid off!! Leads from the front and plays with some serious intensity. Good to see.

Why doesn't he receive the award at the VAFA Pres Night? Don't they announce the votes on the night?
I was scrolling through the VAFA website and there seems to be a Grand Final B.O.G award in all grades except the Club XVIIIs.

yer he was a good player, i thought caulfields bald bloke may have gone close

mick, of course there is no BOG for clubbies, they just made for medals for A grade such as best runner in the grand final, thats where our BOG medal has gone

I must say that i was perplexed when told "Skip" would recieve his medal this Sunday after the GF? I can see no reason as to why this award wouldnt be presented on the night when all of the other medals are presented. It just proves that Clubbies football is not very high on the VAFA agenda!

So i guess it's useless asking if there's full run down of the votes?

Surely the Rover and Far Kew boys flooded the top end of the voting :D

Don't forget the boys who love their texting (SMS) as well, Pow Pow. But to answer your question, yes. They do give a complete list. I'll leave it with you to guess who polled 3 in our only win last season!

i would be interested to see to full list, especially when there are player umpires umpiring!

ormond must have had theyre blokes umpiring every week!;)

our bloke who won the league b&f last year didnt even win the club b&f!

the bloke who came 18th in the league b&f won our club one in a canter!

interesting results

You've cast out the bait but I'm not biting Chaz. Considering we only played 2 home games for the year where we had to supply an umpire (Finey from SEN) its incredible that Skip has come home with the Chocolates!

Firstly, the bloke that came 18th is from Old Melb. The first 2 rows of the spreadsheet are used for the heading and Rounds. McDonough, who I presume you're talking about, came 16th.
Secondly, I played Ormond twice this year and thought Skip was probably best on in the 1st game and would've been around the mark in the 2nd - Shane Metz (Hummer's mate #9) was a stand out in that game. Based on those 2 games and Ormond winning more than they lost, it's conceivable that Skip could poll well enough to win.
It's no secret that blonde/white tips on a ranga catches the eye of everyone and when the guy can play the game as well as Skip does, there's every chance the hair might stand out just that little bit more when votes are being cast. He may not be the best player in the comp, but I reckon he's a worthy winner all the same. I say well done to him.

youre killing me beamsy, i set it up for another heated debate, and you didnt take it!

yer he was a good player, does deserve it im sure, and i actually did hear finey talking about his umpiring experience after that weekend, he wasnt impressed with the standard (i dont know what he was expecting in clubbies south...)

i really dont like him on SEN, especially with his ridiculous and biased comments about st kilda and would ahve given him a massive spray had he umpired us

Yer the B&F does throw up some interesting things.

But to be fair in the game you flogged us beamsy he was the best player on the ground. in this comp you could play 5 or 6 good games and win the medal. VAFA could name it after unkie mick and Hummer

He's a good mate of mine, but having said that i would have loved to have seen someone realyy tee off on him! :)

There is too much sense being spoken on here today.
C'mon Hummer, I'm confident you can change this!

How about we all join forces against the Mazenod blokes, that way we'll have an even amount of hatred and harmony.

I encourage everyone to join in. Except Uncle Mick, he has been excluded on account of being a douche

Congrats to Caulfield on their Premiership success. I did try to pop in for a look, but they wouldn't allow me into the ground with my 4 legged friend - even after I insisted he'll be staying in the car with me. Not sure how many of you are dog owners, but when she suggested I tie him up out front and pick him up on the way out I nearly fell out of my car. What an absolute dead head! Clearly never had a dog of her own.....
