Feels like we've discussed this before. Drugs aren't generally socially acceptable in the professions (sales and media aren't professions). Use usually reduces performance, loses money. Those who do use often end up losing a lot, including their career, family, and money. Drug users almost universally think drug use is far more prevalent than it actually is, because they hang around drug users and because it makes them feel their drug use is more accepted and less harmful than it really is, IME.The social acceptance of drugs rather than druggos is the context of my post.
