Kevin Parker literally wrote us a song and we’re wheeling out Coldplay.

And what the hell was with the supposed Hells Bells pre bounce song? They only played the start and then went back to We Will Rock You, which sucks arse compared to Hells Bells.

I know people are hurting about the result today (as am I), and may not care about this.

Sorry to say it, but I immensely disliked all the changes to the game day experience or whatever it is that they call it.

New walkout song “Come Together” - I love The Beatles, but this is a bland version and very uninspiring.

Coin toss song “Hells Bells” - a good tune on it’s own, but it cuts out when the guitar kicks in and soon after is replaced by “We Will Rock You”. It’s all muddled and though it may have seemed like a good idea to someone, it really sucked.

Oh yeah and Coldplay…hated it.

Thank F we were spared Wharfie Time today (itself to be heralded by Hells Bells). It’s all too much - less is more.

If anyone from the club is reading this, please stop ruining what was already good and didn’t need changing. I’m far less inclined to drag along my kids and or mates to Freo games now.

It’s so cringe, you can’t manufacture an atmosphere with the bland song that has no connection to freo (yes I’m aware that the W team sang it after a finals win but they did that organically)

Why didnt they put up Wharfie time in the last 4-5 minutes when it was close, thought that was what it was for to get us over the line?

I’ve noticed the atmosphere at Freo games has decreased dramatically over the last couples years.

The crowd is wanting to get behind the team so much but the game style we play just doesn’t allow it.

The Freo atmosphere used to be insane but I feel every one is just a bit meh atm. I have no doubt success will get the place rocking again.

But how I long for those days at subi when the atmosphere was just incredible.
