North x 1.Well Lynch still has North x2, Port x2, Bombers x2, West Coast again and Gold Coast. So yeah, easier than Cameron. Good luck beating him in this form.
North x 1.
Port is no easy best. Shouldn't be even mentioned. We play Port in AO soon I wouldn't be so confident.
Let us know when he catches Shai BoltonPatrick Cripps
If Curnow stays fit Id say hes a lock.Very interesting this year. Normally there are 3-4 you think can win it. So wide open this year.
Those with 20 plus..
Lynch 27
Curnow 25
Cameron 24
Wright 23
Hawkins 23
King 21
Mackay 20
Franklin still a chance. Naughton.
Great to have so many in the hunt.
So hard to pick. Thoughts on the winner?
I'm surprised Charlie has managed to get ahead of Harry.I'm expecting it to be between Lynch & McKay come the end of the year. Even with Curnow there regularly so far, McKay still has 20 and I feel like his form can improve.
Had a look back in history and had to go back to 1899 to 1901 for a period it happened. It's wide open. Great to see.
While I'm not expecting Harry or Charlie to win it this year, I'm curious if a team has ever won back to back Colemans with different players?
1901 | Fred Hiskins | Essendon | 34 |
1900 | Albert Thurgood | Essendon | 24 |
1900 | Teddy Lockwood | Geelong | 24 |
1899 | Eddy James | Geelong | 31 |
missed 2 games otherwise would he right in itPatrick Cripps
Wow! Cheers for doing the leg work.Had a look back in history and had to go back to 1899 to 1901 for a period it happened.
It actually happened twice within that era but at no other time in history.
Obviously Coleman was not born then so the medal itself was not a thing back then in terms of a name for it.

Brownlow, Coleman, MVP, Norm Smith? The quadrellaPatrick Cripps
No love for Hawkins? Barring injury (and suspension), he traditionally has a better 2H than 1H, so expect him to ramp up and win his 2nd Coleman. He is like a bottled of quality red wine - keeps getting better with age
doubt we will make the grand final, but at this rate coleman is still a possibilityBrownlow, Coleman, MVP, Norm Smith? The quadrella
Calm down. He is not Bernie Quinlan.Brownlow, Coleman, MVP, Norm Smith? The quadrella
He’s probably taller?Calm down. He is not Bernie Quinlan.
Probably, will check how tall Bernie was and return. He’s probably taller?

I think what hurts Cameron and Hawkins is they steal goals off each other. Same is happening at the moment for McKay with Curnow. At the moment Riewoldts poor form mean Lynch is the focal point at Richmond, so he is my favourite to take it. And I think white 2m Peter will kick a lot of goals, his issue is he plays for a very poor team.
Normally yes, but Lynch is in really good form atm and you don’t really need to be that good to kick a bag of at least 7 in most of those games. He also doesn’t have another key forward stealing his goals like Hawkins (Riewoldt isn’t as good). We’ll just have to wait and see.
Also has 7 games at skilled stadium along with the dogs twice who struggle with key fwds.cameron. he plays eagles twice. he plays north twice
