General conscious amongst AFL fans is Collingwood but an argument can be made for Richmond - being the first club to get 1 million people through the gates in a season and the first club to have 100k members in a season.

Your jump was double that of Collingwood's.

Collingwood's membership rose by 14,000, yours rose by 28,000. Richmond are at Hawthorn levels of bandwagon.

Collingwoods membership jumped by 23000 not 14000, from 48408 to 71796 a 48% rise.
Richmond went from 72669 to 100,726 a 38% rise

Its marvelous how quickly we left Collingwood behind and how fickle their supporters are, they only managed the 5th highest membership this year, we were still able to reach third highest for membership in 2015,16 and17 after 37 years without a flag.

Even if it was 51617 to 71706 that's still a 24% rise, mate there are calculators on google for this shit

I just looked it up your figures are including non access which are not official AFL members, a bit like Adelaide do with their mailout members, that are counted in charts up until the official end of year count, pet members.

Collingwood set a record for a club with 71,271 members,
up 24 per cent on its 2010 total of 57,408.

So no where near double by Richmond and as I said those figure are counted differently from Richmond in 2018 under the same rules Collingwood had 48408 as quoted from

The only figures that really count to a clubs bottom line are member revenue and gate takings.
