Collingwood Coach shock!

Apparently this is true, but we'll find out tomorrow either way!

Collingwood are having a press conference tomorrow afternoon at 2pm to announce that Mick Malthouse is ill (cancer) and can no longer continue as coach of Collingwood. His replacement will be Terry Wallace for the next three years.

Mick Malthouse became aware of the illness late in the home and away season. Through Craig Kelly, Eddie McGuire wanted the next best and therefore secured Terry Wallace after Round 21.

Where did I hear this from? A friend of a friend who is high up in the hotel industry - they have (according to him) booked a room for the press conference and apparently they notify the reason behind the conference.

We'll find out tomorrow at 2pm.

Don't want to put a horrible twist to it...but it may explain the reasons why Mick was so emotional after the GF. As i have never seen a coach be so emotional as mick was.

I hope its not true as i will be shocked.

If this isnt true the person who started it should be ashamed of themselves! You can make these rumours up about players blueing etc but this is very serious. Im not a pies supporter but would be devasted to lose an absolute legend to the game. To the assclown who started this, I hope your wrong and you get hit by a bus. If youre correct, got the tattslotto numbers for saturday night???

Normally I would have said "as if" but his reaction at the grand final was definitely out of charactor.

After the punch up with Tarrant, Tarrant headed off and together with Leon Davis they both walked out on the club.

Later that night Buckley was sprung by one of the Doctors in an unused operating theatre in a heated semi clad embrace with Christi malthouse. Shane Crawford has delayed signing his contract with Collingwood until the future of the coaches position has been settled. Not so with Travis Johnstone who has already signed.

You are one gullible person (or a bad liar). I hardly think the CFC would disclose this info to the hotel. They would simply tell them that they are holding a press conference.

I am amazed at how many people fall for the rumours that they recieve via email or via this site.

Anyone who believes this is very gullable.

Firstly its none of the hotels business what the press conference is about and secondly, the family have denied all of these rumours.

I got 3 emails today at work:

1) Mick Malthouse has cancer
b) Chris Tarrants fight with Buckley
c) Buckley sleeping with Christi Malthouse

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but there seems to be a trend here.

Utter Bull****! This isn't normal footy goss guys, this about Cancer and should not speculated and rumours should not be perpetuated. The family have been utterly offended by the inuendo etc.. about this.

Is it so far beyond the realms of possibility that a man who is regarded as a rock, a straight one at that, could crack completely when the aim he was striving for with heaps of effort, did not eventuate?

Let the man cry for goodness, don't attribute to some disease. Maybe he stubbed him toe just before he came on the field? Or maybe he has been experiencing sporadic tears ever since he was experimented on by aliens...

Maybe its got something to do with the outrageous salarys paid to the coaches and they feel guilty ..... and they should as well.

Read in the West today that the combined salary of the two GF coaches ( around two million ) was as much as WA spends on football development ............... that digusts me.
