I wouldn't swap Henry for Hagen straight up.

+ Ollie Henry
I wouldnt either but thats what they would be asking for. 1st + one of Henry or Ginnivan. Thats the sort of deal they would insist on.I wouldn't swap Henry for Hagen straight up.
I am in the camp that believes it's way too early to make a call on Jamarra but i am pretty sure he has not risen in value on what he has shown so far. No club in their right mind would offer 2 first-round picks unless they were 16 and 17, for example. Even then i have my doubts. I have not been watching him in the VFL but i would be expecting him to look a class above, which apparently he has not as yet.
Dogs gave up pick 6 and Ryan Griffen for Tom Boyd who was under contract. So that's probably a benchmark. If you look at the points index two pick 9’s probably equal a pick 1. Even if you discount based on his performance so far I’d still be thinking we’d need to part with our first pick this year, somewhere around 8-10, and probably next year’s as well. We’d probably get something back in that deal.
I’m not for one moment saying that’s what I’d offer but I’m thinking that would be the starting point of discussions from the Dogs perspective. I reckon they’d want two top 10’s.

I hope something clicks for him, because he’s beginning to give off serious Tom Boyd vibes.I am in the camp that believes it's way too early to make a call on Jamarra but i am pretty sure he has not risen in value on what he has shown so far. We wish. Will Hoskin-Elliot? Same amount of names should get the deal done
Or we could condense it down to Collingwood Trade and F/A discussion!Definitely belongs in the conversation. You can stretch it 3 and I've probably missed a couple, maybe 5 better Australian female tennis players in 40 years.
You've missed the point. Anna Kournikova proves that JUH should be targeted by the Pies, due to his similarity to Bernard Tomic.Or we could condense it down to Collingwood Trade and F/A discussion!

Cameron, as good as he was around the ground yesterday, still got belted in the hitouts and Darcy won 11 clearances to Cameron’s 2. Can’t fault Cameron’s effort against a stronger opponent, but yesterday was more exception than rule. He’ll never be a #1 ruck but he’s a serviceable back-up and key forward.
The player I’d like to throw the kitchen sink at is Weitering from Carlton.
Better than May.
A natural leader and one hell of a back line general.
Solves so many issues.
It’d also be nice to shaft Carlton.
I know it’s a pipe dream.
But it’s a good one.
How? Josh Schache got traded for pick 25&40 at the end of his second season, he had two years to run on his contract and had played 27 games for 25 goals.

JUH has played 9 games for 9 goals a year and a half in and has 2 years to run after this. How could be be more valuable than Schache?
Schache set a goal kicking record in the under 18 national championship. JUH was drafted off the back of flashes of potential he showed as an under 17 and done nothing sinceOn the same basis that Tom Boyd was traded for pick 6 and Griffin. I also think JUH has been talked up more as a generational forward than Schache ever was. Reputation will mean the Dogs start off higher.
Note this is what I think the Dogs would be asking for. Not what I’d be prepared to pay as the Pies.

You only had to watch JUH as a junior to know that he was far more special than Schache ever was.Schache set a goal kicking record in the under 18 national championship. JUH was drafted off the back of flashes of potential he showed as an under 17 and done nothing since
He only kicked more than 1 goal twice lol.You only had to watch JUH as a junior to know that he was far more special than Schache ever was.
It's not about how many goals he kicks, how's schache going now? Time will tell if JUH will ever live up to his reputationHe only kicked more than 1 goal twice lol.
Lol how Schache is currently going isn’t relevant. He had consistently performed to a higher level to the same point of his career he had 2 years to run on his contract and was traded for a second and a third. To try and say JUH is worth at least two firsts is laughableIt's not about how many goals he kicks, how's schache going now? Time will tell if JUH will ever live up to his reputation
IMO, these numbers are missing context.Yep, this. I think people still aren’t grasping the magnitude of the change without Grundy.
R1-6 with Grundy we averaged +5 HO’s, -2.5 clearances and -0.5 centre clearances.
R7-10 we’re averaging -24 HO’s, -8 clearances, -4 centre clearances.
That’s a lot of additional chasing tail we have to do every week.
When did Witts and Darcy go past Grundy? He's had their measure every time they've squared off. They're good players but to suggest they're better than Reg is imv a stupid thing to say.IMO, these numbers are missing context.
Rounds 7 & 10 were against two of the best 3 ruckman in the game currently (yeah Darcy and Witts have gone past Grundy). It also doesn’t take into account the support Grundy has v Cameron’s. We’ve lost a bit around the contest, which is to be expected, but those two matches where it was Cameron and Begg/ Brown v Witts and Chol + Darcy and Lobb have blown things out.
If you run it again in a fortnight the sample sizes will be comparable with the Carlton and Hawthorn matches likely to level them out.
I don’t personally rate players overall on the basis of head to heads, but all power to you taking on my stupid views… For instance it’ll be 60 odd matches between Witts having come up against Grundy in 2023 if Grundy doesn’t get up for the return clash later this year. When did Witts and Darcy go past Grundy? He's had their measure every time they've squared off. They're good players but to suggest they're better than Reg is imv a stupid thing to say.
I never said he was worth 2 first round picks, don't know where you got that from.Lol how Schache is currently going isn’t relevant. That’s where the Schache and JUH comparison started. That was the point of the original comparison.I never said he was worth 2 first round picks, don't know where you got that from.
