Two debutants on the eve of finals is a scary prospect, especially with a coach
who is so careful with debutants.
No doubt. IMV Allan is probably more afl ready than Ryan but they've already made their call.

It could also be Reef as the in, with Howe swinging into defence.
Or Carmichael might come in to play the wing role i've tagged Allan for.

CC has kicked 2 bags of 6 in his last 3 games against us.

Yep. The Lions have been able to take it from half back to deep forward under little to no pressure time and time again against us. Allowing CC to look like a champion when he kicks a bag of goals from 2 metres out.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what our pressure and intensity is like through the middle of the ground tonight. If we are flat and allow the Lions to transition easily, we're in for a tough night. If we're on, they'll go to water and i can see us having a stirring victory. We need that pressure gauge hitting 200 on a regular basis tonight.

I'm now struggling to remain positive.
I still think we can break even in the midfield with Sidey in and Degoey out.
Creating attacks off half back is a bit of a worry without Noble and Moore.

We haven't been generating enough inside 50s in recent weeks however our goals per inside 50s have been insanely efficient and its the key to us winning the flag.
Hill was a big part of that last week. We only went in 45 times and Geelong 51.
Quaynor and Markov can pick up the slack.

Our defenders roll up to impact the contest, and he gets goal side and then is unstoppable if they get it through. We'll continue to roll up to impact the contest - it's our system - and he'll continue to remain goal side - it's the "if they get it through" bit that we need to stop.

God should I even bother going lol

If we're resting half the side

Yet to see us "backs against the wall" with Fly so have no idea how we are in this scenario.

As much as I hated Malthouse, have to say, game like this? You can pretty much put a W in the book. Hell, even under Bucks we had good wins when undermanned and the underdogs.

I’m not sure what it means, but I’ve noticed it as well. There’s been a significant ratcheting up in pressure and media attention on them this week. No doubt the likes of Neale, Dunkley, Zorko and Daniher will recapture their best tonight, but I suspect it’ll be decided by pressure.

Like a few others I’m one that believes in Marvel suiting how we want to play and set the game up. Also don’t sleep on the weather as a factor. For most of the match it’ll be hovering around 7-8 degrees which is bloody chilly by Melbourne standards let alone Brisbane…
I hope someone accidentally grabs Zorkos nutz again and finished the job.. he is flipping sniper himself and sh$%^&ts me to tears

Anyone want 2 seats for tonight's game, just PM me. *Free to a good home.

*This would naturally exclude vocal supporters of Hawaiian pizza.
