I just wanna say ... This is probably the best win I could've hoped for. We sunk to lows in the first half (I checked quarter by quarter before coming back here) but spun them out and buried them in the second. It's exactly the type of win I want to stick it to the Richmond arseh*le I hate so much.

Can't wait to see his reaction.

Goldie can play and at his best is the best, don't expect that every week but the effort today was sensational.

The club deserved a lot of criticism they received after that second quarter. Did people watch that second half and understand how pathetic Richmond are? To allow that side to get 5 goals ahead in a quarter is not acceptable.

I wasn't entirely off but I never expected us to set up the win in the 3rd quarter. I said we needed a good start to the 3rd quarter or else we were gone, and we did get that good start.

Sadly agree.

Rapt with the 2nd half though. I just hope that first half gets a thorough review. Had food poisoning more enjoyable than that.

Did something about it though within the game so its something to build on and reference later in the season.

I was at the GC game when the supporters were booing the house down after the first half and then we barely won in the end. A few years ago it was. Christ, not pleasant.

I think Richmond were fantastic in the first half and deserve credit. They hit us with everything they had.

But they also had nothing left, a good side will work its way through four quarters. Richmond reminded me of another side circa 2013....
